Morning! Took one last trip to Michigan before summer came to a close. Heading back to work today to prepare for the upcoming school year! It’s going to be super busy but hope to find some time to paint this week. ❤️🤍🖤

Happy Friday! Spent the morning hiking and searching for pretty things with wings. Found hummingbird moths, tiger swallowtails, and monarchs! The wildflowers were also stunning!

Morning! After 30 hours, I am finally ready to start painting the woodpeckers! This has been quite the journey on this one, and I learned a lot! So glad I decided to create my largest painting to date! ❤️🤍🖤

Went on an exploration yesterday with my aunt, Laura Brushaber to see what beauty we could find! I would say it was a wonderful day! 💕

Morning! Still haven’t worked more on the bark. Here’s a pic of how close I was to the halfway point before the avalanche…. 😂🤣😂

Morning! I was trying so hard to make it to the halfway point when the rounded dotting tool starts rolling down the canvas, destroying all the dots in its way! 😂🤣 Was able to save most of them but there seems to be clear signs when it is time to walk away! 🤪

Morning! Oh my goodness! Did not think making rows of dots was going to be so time consuming…. 🤣😂🤣 Small progress is still progress! 💕

Morning! Just got back from a trip to the apostle islands! Kayaked 3 miles out to sand island and then hiked to see the mainland sea caves. Now, back to work on the woodpeckers!!
