Integrative Astrology offers a safe way to discover, awaken, and include the parts of ourselves that we’ve restricted and forgotten but still very much run the show.
What is integration work?
This is the deepest of work and extremely precise if your interested in understanding yourself, expanding your awareness, embodiment, ancestral and trans generational integrative work, and integrating shadow material and unconscious drivers which cause us suffering and conflict.

We’re born. We grow. We fail. We learn. We embody. And we keep on birthing newness with the foundation, the platform of what came before. This process is the foundation and movement of life. How many of these individuation processes can you find going on in you?
I love astrology. I also have some real questions about it. Check out some of the previous posts if you do as well. Or visit integrative astrology on tiktok or Instagram.
Hard questions about astrology.
Part 2 Hard conversations about the legitimacy and fragmentation in astrology
Let’s look deeper at astrology. Why is it not respected by many people and groups, yet it’s regarded as deeply healing with others? What’s true about it? What’s not?
What are archetypes?
Tune in with your senses and become aware of the subtle movement in which we’re connected. It’s not just the sun and moon. There are so many layers and levels of reality involved. But the important thing is, they all begin simply with you, your body, and your awareness. Find your antenna and follow integrative astrology on Tik Tok!♥️
What's really happening when we notice a correlation between the sign the moon is in and our own experience? Is it a feeling? Do you attribute circumstances to the moon's cycle and placement?
Take a bit of time, if you're interested, and look deeper. How much of the correlation, if you see one, is based on language, key words, thoughts? And how much is based on physical sensations, emotions, and actual events? How are these two linked, language and physicality?
Is that what astrology is based on, language or labeling of movement in life and correlation between bigger cycles and smaller cycles? Can they really be connected if we drop the language and the measurement? How would we see that correlation? Would it be a feeling, an observation, or both? Or would there not be a correlation without the label?
For all you deep thinkers out there.

What happens in an integrative astrology session?
What happens in our nervous system when someone really sees and hears a younger part of ourselves and doesn’t resist it and doesn’t try to change it?
Coregulation happens. Learning and new feedback loops happen. The younger part recognizes the more mature part and feels the safety to be. Then growth can carry on as it does naturally and relationally. The part that was frozen in time can gather new information and begin to mature.
Here are images of a young planet accreting matter from the disc surrounding it's sun as it grows into a mature body within it's solar system.

Order, homeostasis, equalibrium ... these states are biological, psychological, emotional, ecological, and systematic. What I’m saying is that on every level our systems, from the cellular level to the mental level to the cosmic level, are always trying to come back home to order. We call this being ok.
Disorder happens when we can’t see or accept what’s real, what’s actually happening before thought and belief, before conditioning, before the storyline. So the mind works to create more meaning, more belief, more resistance, and more thinking of ways to be ok, to feel ok.
To come back home, we have to turn our attention back to the facts, the reality of what’s happening, and we start with closer than close, our bodies, emotions, and mental activity. When we look at our thoughts, sensations, and feelings with a question mark and ask “what is this?”, we are turning toward home.
I'd like to invite you to check out the website for more information on interoception and integrative astrology. While you're there, click on the archetype descriptions to get a taste of what our inquiry and exploration is based on.
There is also a tab called "resources" which will explain how to feel into our body respectfully and safely. Developing interoceptive capacity is healing and brings us into life more fully.
It’s not easy, especially when we’ve suffered trauma or childhood adversity. Finding support through teachers, healing practioners, therapists, friends, and coaches is part of the healing and connection journey.

Astrology is a language that attempts to label the subtle movement of life and the cosmos so that we can understand and communicate with others about patterns that are apparent only by using a broadened perspective from independent/separate consciousness toward interdependent/inclusive of everything in our awareness.
For example, not everyone is conscious of the sun’s and moon’s effect on their nervous system as well as the frequency patterns of their neighborhood, community, continent, or human family. But when we pay close attention, it’s undeniable the connection between our individual bodies and how they are chemically activated on so many levels such as sleep, activity, inclination, nutrition, and routine based on the movement of our planet in relation to the sun and moon.
The field of astrology has many tendencies to lean back toward independent consciousness, but when we broaden and include this as part of human development we understand that everything is learning and maturing, and astrology is as well.

Tuning into our body isn’t always comfortable, but it reveals the truth about what’s real and what isn’t.
Moon in Scorpio - How does it live in our body?
Feel into the word ‘power’ and ‘powerless’ and allow your body to move. It may take a little time or your body may move right away. What’s happening is a procedural memory and a somatic response to a concept based on how that concept lives in your conscious and unconscious make up.
Just notice. There’s no right or wrong, good or bad. We’re finding out what’s already there that we may or may not be aware of.
Be kind to yourself. Our body/bio computer is highly intelligent and has a very complex security system and motivational drive to both stay safe and expand.
Becoming aware of what’s happening helps us to understand and mature parts that are still operating at a younger and possibly wounded level. ♥️
