Today in hopes of a 60th reunion marking the anniversary of the high school winning it's only State Championship in football, I returned the plaque to the high school in hopes that this plaque will be placed in a place of honor for all to see and possibly make a connection with our team. The plaque contains the names of all the players, the coaches, and the trainers. I also hope that one day DCHS can count on TWO state championship football teams.

I have changed the date to the 23rd of June same time same place

If anybody is interested in getting together to try and plan a 60th class reunion, please come to Fabiano's in Douglasville on Sunday June 16th at 4pm for a meeting and also just to get back together again

A get together is planned for 7/23/23 location tbd let me now where u would like to go

Chris has decided on a celebration of life for Pat at her home in Winston on March 4th Address is 14061 Veterans Highway Villa Rica This is a Saturday afternoon between 2:00 & 5:00 Dress is nice casual with music, beer & wine and finger foods Pat did not want to have anything sad, just friends and family celebrating her good life Lots of stuff available to go through from when she & I helped with planning class reunions Chris would like to include any class members that want to celebrate Pat How do you suggest getting this info out? we need RSVP's to plan for food and such People can respond to me at [email protected] or phone 770-715-7032 Please let me know how we can accomplish ti notification to all class members Thanks

It is with great sadness I write of a lifelong friend's passing. Pat Usry. Pat's family will have a memorial service sometime after the first of the year.

I really wanted to hold a 70th birthday party for our class just as means to keep in touch. But due to my continuing health problems and recent surgery (Right shoulder completely replaced this past January) and newly diagnosed IT syndrome, it has become impossible for me to try to organize anything. Maybe next year!

August the 11th at Fabiano's had a great time with those that could make it will do this again until we get it right!!!!
