Tandaan na ang pagtatae (diarrhea) ay kadalasang sintomas ng sakit dala ng maruming inuming tubig.

Ang cholera ay sakit na dala ng Vibrio cholerae, isang bacteria. Nagdudulot ito ng pagtatae (diarrhea).

Kapag hindi nalunasan ang diarrhea at cholera, maaaring mamatay dahil sa dehydration o pagtuyo ng katawan.

Goiter Awareness week

Ngayong ika-4 na linggo ng Enero sa Goiter Awareness Week na may tema na Leeg Kapain, Goiter Sugpuin: Isip ay Patalinuhin, Iodized Salt ay Gamitin.

Pagkaing mayaman sa Iodine ang kakampi para maka-iwas sa Goiter. Kumain ng sapat na isda, dairy, itlog at iodized salt.

Kung kayo ng ilan sa mga sintomas na ito agad na magpakonsulta sa doktor o sa pinakamalapit na primary care provider sa inyong lugar.

Nakapagtala na ang DOH ng 81 na kaso ng Omicron XBB subvariant at 193 naman ng XBC variant. Ayon sa ahensya, bakuna pa rin ang pinakamainam na depensa sa COVID-19 virus at sa mga variant nito. Pinapayuhan ng ahensya ang lahat na magpabooster shot at ipagpatuloy ang pagsagawa ng safety health protocols.
