I’m beyond excited how well my needle felted mouse turned out… let me know if this is something y’all might be interested in purchasing in the future… this was only my second needle felting project ever and I’m really pleased with it… thought y’all might like to see the stages/progress 🥰

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!!! One of my favorite projects this year were these cute Christmas-eve boxes for the kiddos...If I get more organized I will offer them for sale next year! They were filled with matching PJs, personalized stuffed animal, reindeer antlers, and jingle bell bracelets... they were dropped off by the scout deer in our wood shed 😉

Today’s project was some “stuffies” to go with our new book we purchased on Amazon. Cora has been especially interested in Christmas this year and Santa but it was important to me for her to also know the true reason to celebrate. I’m also super excited to see the Christmas Star that the inter-webs is in a hype over. We have a whole fun family evening planned to go and see the ‘star’ and I want her to remember it so we made a baby Jesus and a star to go with our nativity story. She was so excited to help me make them. If you have a children’s book you are interested in some small simple felt “stuffies” to go with tell me about them! This might get a little sappy... This has been one of my favorite quotes/questions over the past several years. I keep a small version of this on my desk at work and it has meant many different things to me over the years. It helps me remember the bigger picture God has for us all. I started the project mostly for myself to keep in my craft space but it evolved into something a bit more. Clearly I need more practice with heat transfer vinyl 😅 but after I stared at the imperfections I just rolled with it...b/c that’s what this reminds me of...things won’t always be perfect and there is still much to learn in life. So...today think about what you are waiting for and where you hope that journey will take you! I hope it’s a beautiful ride along the way even with all the bumps. Does anyone else have problems with pets, kids, or husbands running past your kitchen towel and it slides into the floor? I don’t know about y’all, but I have all 3 😂... I came up with this little solution to compliment my hand towels and keep them secure on the stove handle for quick hand drying (also works for the bathroom).
