Do you know the Biblical meaning of the number 8 (August is the 8th month of the year)? 🤔

Before I share the meaning of the number 8, in the Bible, remember that God's track record is proof enough of His faithfulness. 🙌🏾🙌🏾❤️

The biblical meaning of the number 8 includes new beginnings, resurrection, completion, and fulfillment. It reminds us of God’s redemptive plan and His desire for us to experience spiritual rebirth, regeneration, and a deeper relationship with Him.

As we enter this month, may we embrace the symbolism of the number 8.

**Googling and calling everyone to complain about your child's behavior will not solve the problem. Ask me how I know? 😑 I have done it more times than I should have. 😥😥😥However, googling should never come before prayer and seeking wisdom in the Bible.

⭐Children need help from their parents, so who better to help us with parenting than the perfect Abba Father - GOD.

✨ Psalm 46:1 reminds us that “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." My favorite part of that verse is present help. Our God is always near.

✨ Last year, one of my boys was behaving in a way that was upsetting everyone. Neither discipline nor consequences was working. As I reached for my phone to Google solutions, I heard in my spirit "How about prayer?" To be honest I wanted a drive-thru solution -aka quick and easy. After hesitation, I got on my knees and prayed a quick prayer. 🤦🏾‍♀️I kept praying for him and stopped focusing on his behavior. Desperation made me persistent in my prayer. One day in prayer, I heard in my spirit that I should spend more quality time with him. As a single mom who was already stretched thin, I didn't want to but obeyed in faith. I spent time with him in the evenings and after several weeks, I saw a complete 360 in his behavior.

✨I received a solution that was both effective and long-lasting because I went to my son's Creator for a solution. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

✨Mama, don't be like me when it comes to guiding your children's hearts. Always seek God first in the word and prayer. Allow Him to guide you to the right resources and people for assistance.

The boys are taking Kung Fu and one of the things that I kept hearing during their class was that quote. It stuck to me and I have been hearing them say it often. I pray that it sticks to them throughout life but especially in their faith walk.

While pondering on the quote…the LORD reminded me of walking by FAITH and not by sight.

I have not been fully walking by FAITH so I have been distracted A LOT! I have lost sight of the vision and promises of GOD walking by sight. Sight gets us distracted by shiny object syndrome, the past, other peoples opinions and so forth.

However, like the Spirit revealed to me, when we walk by FAITH, our only focus is GOD. When we keep our eyes on our SAVIOR, there’s no distractions because HE knows the way since HE has gone before to make the crooked ways straight.❤️🙌🏾🙏🏾
