When I started this painting, we still had our little man. He's gone to doggie heaven now, and I miss him more than anything. He was the best dog and my best friend.
We have my paintings of him around the house, and we're hanging this one up in the guest bathroom πΉ

Some action shots from First Friday Live at The Herberger Theater Center π₯ I got to paint live out on the Pavillion while there were some amazing Broadway performances on the stage π
It's Print Day in May β¨οΈ I got to spend some time with and do some monoprint portraits of each other! I haven't done print making in several years, so this was a fun experiment. So thankful for Harold's invite π
Tonight, I will be painting live outside at the Herberger Theater Center! I'll have my booth set up with originals and prints for sale as well. They also have performances and a gallery reception happening tonight. Come check it out while you're downtown for First Friday!

So stoked my piece "Stitches" got 3rd place in the Phoenix Pride Art Competition this year! This piece really means a lot to me, and I'm so happy I get to share it with so many people.
My other piece in the show is titled "Belonging" - Another really special, personal painting.
The other art in the show was so beautiful, and I'm glad I got to meet other great artists tonight. It's a beautiful thing to see so many people expressing their Pride through their art.
