Disney has announced details about the new Lightning Lane Premier Pass! Beginning on October 23 in Disneyland and October 30 in Walt Disney World, guests can purchase a Lightning Lane for every ride in a park without scheduling a ride time ahead of time.

In Disneyland, guests can purchase the Premier Pass two days in advance, meaning as early as October 21st. Your purchase will give you a Lightning Lane for every Lightning Lane attraction in both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Pricing for 2024 is $400/person/day, and will fluctuate between $300-$400/person/day in 2025.

In Disney World, guests can purchase access 7 days in advance. Your purchase gives you access to all of the Lightning Lane attractions in one park and one park only. Pricing is different depending on the park you choose: At the lowest end is Animal Kingdom, which will start at $129/person/day and go up depending on crowd levels, and the top price will be at Magic Kingdom, where you’ll spend $449/person/day during peak times.

It’s the Genie+ update we’ve all been waiting for! Starting on July 24th, resort guests will be able to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass (no longer Genie+) up to 7 days prior to arrival! Your purchase will include your first three Lightning Lanes that you can schedule, just like FastPass+ used to be, and will include any others you make throughout the day. Individual Lightning Lanes will now be called Lightning Lane Single Passes, and you can schedule those, too! Non-resort guests can take advantage of this three days prior to arrival. This change takes effect for both Walt Disney World and Disneyland on July 24th! While I miss when FastPass was free, I’m happy I won’t have to wake up at 7:00 AM to book my first rides of the day anymore. Contact me for a free quote and any questions you have!
