Dear all,

The final round of the MMU Public Speaking Competition 2023 (MMUPSC) took place on the 3rd of February 2023 and ended on a successful high note.

This marks the first physical public speaking competition to be held in MMU Melaka following the inception of the MMU International Public Speaking Competition (MMUIPSC) pioneered by Mr. Pavit Coran the English Speaking Union-International Public Speaking Champion of 2021.

All finalist delivered their exceptional speeches that captivated the audiences and emboldened the theme of "Pursuing Passion Amidst A Pragmatic World".

We would like to congratulate Logeenth Rao, Low Savannah and Yap Wen Min on being our Top 3 winners.

We wish them all the best and to bright endeavours ahead!

The Voices MMU Debate & Public Speaking Society aims to provide more platforms for students to build their self-esteem and hone their confidence through the art of public speaking — in an even better scale foreseeably.

We are pleased to announce that the MMU Public Speaking Competition 2023 (MMUPSC) is now open for registration.

The theme of the competition is "Pursuing Passion Amidst A Pragmatic World." It can be daunting to pursue one's passion in a world where pragmatism is lauded. The conflict between practicality and passion ensues when it is often thought that being pragmatic is sensible than merely pursuing one's passion without a realistic outcome.

Participants are encouraged to be creative in interpreting the theme as they wish.

The details of the competition are as follows:
Early Bird Registration : RM 50
Normal Registration : RM 75

Multimedia University International Public Speaking Competition (MMUIPSC) 2022 is MMU’s first ever public speaking competition done on a global scale.

MMUIPSC 2022 is a platform whereby students are able to participate, witness and improve on their public speaking skills. It aims to equip talents with the adroitness of critical thinking, speaking persuasively and practice their fluency in English.

It aims to feature participants from various countries to come together on one virtual stage and delve into the realm of public speaking together.

Through this competition, participants would be able to demonstrate their public speaking skills and further refine their skills through healthy competition.
