ATTENTION Cheer Parents!

"Why is attendance at the stunt clinic important?"

If you're uncertain and questioning the significance:

Stunt Progression: This is a key focus area—stunt progression is vital as it emphasizes technique, correct hand placements, and body awareness. We will cater to all skill levels, from beginner to intermediate to advanced (as permitted for each division).

Stunt Safety: Ensuring safety while stunting is our top priority! We will dedicate time to covering proper stunting techniques, which are essential for mastering stunting and serve as the foundation for creating and executing thrilling and innovative stunt sequences.

Specialized Instruction: The clinic is tailored specifically to your athlete and their team's stunting level! We will bring in highly qualified instructors who can address specific team needs, provide critiques, enhance existing stunts, and introduce new stunts for our teams to practice and learn!

In class, we must cover a variety of elements—jumps, motions, formation changes, stunts, pyramids, choreography, and much more.

When we divide 45 minutes into just 4 categories, that gives us over 10 minutes per category. If we split it into 5 categories, that’s only 9 minutes per category! Add in time for water breaks, restroom breaks, and re-teaching material for absent students or those who may have forgotten… you see where I'm going with this?

So, what’s the bottom line? We will have over an hour dedicated exclusively to stunting and pyramids. Most teams will leave with their entire sequences organized and ready to perform, and they will feel more confident in themselves and each other. This time allows us to continue developing visually appealing, intricate, and enhanced choreography while fostering relationships with our athletes through teamwork!

A stunt clinic for cheerleading is akin to a scrimmage game for football… let’s equip our athletes and teams for success!
