Mindful Commute ๐ ๐ ๐ถโโ๏ธ
Transform your daily journey into work, into a mindful practice. Practice body scans, notice how your body feels and notice your surroundings. For example, if you drive to work, feel the weight of your body in the seat, notice your hands on the steering wheel or if you walk, notice your feet as they step onto the ground. With both, also focus on your breath and notice the sounds and sights around you. If the mind wanders away from what you're doing, just simply notice and bring it back to what you're doing
Lunchtime Recharge ๐ฅ ๐ฅ ๐ฟ
Instead of working through lunch, scrolling through your phone or rushing through your meal, let's make proper time for lunch. Think of lunchtime as an opportunity to cultivate more presence. Pay attention to the taste, texture and smell of your food and savor each bite mindfully. Or if weather permits, eat outside or take a mindful walk outdoors to connect to nature. Even a few minutes will have a restorative effect and change your day
Short and Sweet Meditations for In-between Moments ๐งโโ๏ธ ๐งโโ๏ธ
Even a minute or two of breathing consciously can ground you and improve your mood. It's best to start with a body scan first to release tension in the body. Find a comfortable seat and bring your attention to different parts of your body, starting from your toes and working your way up. Notice any tension and release it. Then, notice the sensation of the air entering and leaving your body or listen to a guided meditation if needed. This mini practice can help you relax and recharge. These are perfect for in between calls or meetings, during lunch before eating or when you have a few moments before hosting a meeting!
These short, regular mindful moments can accumulate significant benefits over time. Start small and gradually increase as you become more comfortable ๐

โข MINDFULLY + slowly take your first sip into paradise and let the flavors melt onto your taste buds ๐คค
โข BASK IN THE JOY of your mindful coffee moment with every next sip you take โ
This is a little practice I personally love doing because #1. it brings me right into the moment present and makes me fully aware of my current experience, #2. it heightens the coffee drinking experience as all senses are involved and #3. it helps me appreciate the little things ๐

This was me - Circa 2017 ๐ At 31, I had quit my job in NYC and was in week one of what would be a three year life changing experience.
At that time, I didn't know what I was doing, I just knew I was ready for a BIG change โ๏ธ and when I set off, I was intentional about focusing on these three main things:
๐ learning about myself and growing through meditation practices
๐ traveling as it brought me joy and also took me out of my comfort zone
๐ and exploring different career paths as I was eager to embrace work that felt meaningful to me
When this picture taken, I was clueless about meditation and this was the first day of a four week meditation program ๐งโโ๏ธ After graduating the program, I had learned so many things about the mind and myself that it had forever transformed the way I experienced myself and the world ๐
I also loved that program so much that I ended up going back two more times to further my education and deepen my meditation practice. And let me tell you, I went deep! ๐คฏ Meditation has become a regular part of my mental health care routine ๐ง ๐ช and I can't imagine my life without it.
Meditation changed everything for me and today I teach everything I learned to help others do the same โค๏ธ
It put me in touch with my purpose, gave me clarity and got me in alignment with a career that felt like it was meant for me ๐โโ๏ธ This is what I was so eagerly yearning for when I set out on that journey in 2017!
Today I'm in tune with myself, I'm on a professional path that brings out the best in me and this career allows me help others and make a positive impact in the world, which was an important consideration when it came to choosing a new career path ๐
Could I have ever imagined I would be where I am today? Heck no! ๐
But I knew it was time for a change and I knew I didn't want to keep living a life that felt disconnected and didn't make sense for me ๐

Which is your Intuition Style? โจ
I mainly intuit mentally and spiritually โบ๏ธ but I can get intuitive hits emotionally and physically too.
For the longest time I would reject my intuitive nudges often thinking that it was non-sense.
There are some things we just know or feel to be true without any evidence or logic resonating. This is your intuition speaking to you ๐

BACK ONLINE โบ๏ธ 7 weeks off social media and Iโm feelinโ just DANDY! Which made me wonder, โWhy do I feel so good?โ ๐ค
Research shows too much time on social media leads to increased feelings of inadequacy, isolation, fomo, emotional detachment ect.
Have you experienced that? โน๏ธ
It could also have negative impacts on in-person interactions (has anyone heard of โphubbingโ?) and could be a constant distraction and cause high levels of stress from the need to respond to messages instantly.
Have I experienced all of that? Yes.
Was it a good idea to take a break and reset my social media usage? DEFINITELY.
I HIGHLY SUGGEST a social media break and reset to anyone experiencing the above regularly.
I almost feel like I went on a mini-holiday and Iโm back online feeling super charged with some new social media intentions!
So you may be asking yourself,
โWhat is the right amount of time to scroll on the GRAM, send a TWEET, rock a TOK or LINK it in?โ (or be on any other social media platform that floats your boat).
They say the sweet spot is 30 minutes a day to experience significant improvement in well-being. Right now the daily average per person is over 2 and ยฝ hours (which shockingly equates to over 1 month out of the year! ๐ฏ UGH)
I laughed out loud at 30 minutes because I was definitely in that other category, but hey, I love a challenge and I love feelinโ good! ๐
Iโll test out 60-90 minutes a day because this is more realistic for me and see how it goes - wish me luck!
Is it time for a SOCIAL MEDIA RESET? ๐ค
P.S. I donโt think social media is all bad, as itโs a great place to connect with people who have similar interests, raise awareness about important issues and build community with people from all over the world.

No more posts until the new year and some reflections on 2022 โบ๏ธ
Well, it was a whirlwind of experience that definitely left me wiser than before ๐ (Hvala - Thanks 2022 โบ๏ธ!)
This year my main focuses have been:
โฅ๏ธ Learning about entrepreneurship and growing a business from the ground up
I kind of fell into entrepreneurship without even trying. However, the more I expand into this space, the more I know itโs where I belong. It still feels strange most of the time, but I never really liked people telling me what to do anyway ๐ and I canโt imagine doing something that Iโm not passionate about.

โฅ๏ธ Growing an international community with monthly events here in Zagreb
I started community events because I felt lonely as a foreigner living abroad and I love bringing people together. Lots of time and effort have gone into making the unfamiliar familiar and itโs slowly coming along. More and more I continue to see faces I know walking around town and I canโt express how much that means. Also, Zagreb isnโt that big, so if I continue I should know everyone by 2025 ๐

I got Benni when he was 2 months old in 2007! He was a little fluff ball that immediately melted my heart. Most people donโt know this but when I left to travel in 2017, we were apart for five years; three years while traveling and two years during Covid ๐ We finally reunited one year ago and heโs filled my heart everyday since, even though he prefers his space and huffs and puffs when being petted ๐ oh Benni, I still love you and Iโm so grateful youโre here!
For all the dog owners out there, isnโt it the best feeling coming home to your dog?

Thereโs Liberation in Clarity
With 2023 fast approaching, nowโs a good time to reflect on 2022 and get clear on what you wish to work towards and manifest in the new year ๐
Give yourself the opportunity to let go of whatโs not working, find the freedom to dream big and ultimately create a life you love.
Here are some of my personal goals for 2023:
๐ Visit 1-3 new countries next year - any recommendations?!
๐ Help others cultivate a mindset for success through guided meditation classes being offered twice a week in center Zagreb! (Starting in January - are you coming?)
๐ Run a 5k in the Spring in under 30 minutes
๐ Grow my hypnotherapy and coaching offers online and triple my impact compared to 2022
๐ Continue to grow an international community through monthly events focused on networking, making friends, fun activities and building community
๐ Collaborations on specialized groups, for example, a womenโs entrepreneurs group with focus on support, growth and connection
๐ And this one makes me nervous but I want to learn more Croatian - Moลพeลก li me nauฤiti?
These are just a few of the things Iโll be focusing on in the new year โบ๏ธ
