Please DO NOT ever buy pointe shoes for your children this way. Shame on you
Your ballet teacher will tell you when your child is ready for pointe work and they will recommend a reputable fitter. DO not ever think it’s a good idea to buy online. Pointe shoes need to be fitted to the dancers feet. There is not one shoe fits all. Far from it!
I get parents in my shop looking for pointe shoes for their 8year old children to play in and pretend to be a ballerina. Fills me with utter fear!! Children need to be children and their bones deserve a chance to fully develop and fuse together.
I don’t care if you come to me for a fitting, I can recommend many fitters local to you. We are a community who all support each other and most of all our beautiful dancers. Dancer health has to be at the fore-front of this beautiful art form.🩰🩰🩰
