How long has it been since you placed a bet on yourself? Have you been thinking about trying something new but haven't found the courage to take that first step? 

Just over two years ago I placed a bet on myself (something I hadn't done for a few years) pictured is me with my very first order for Rodeo Road Boutique.

Here's the thing.... It's hard to step out of your comfort zone and pursue something new, especially if you are currently comfortable. BUT we all know that you can't grow while staying in your comfort zone... You have to get uncomfortable sometimes, you've gotta find that little bit of "gangsta" within you and go for it. 

Just over two years ago I was in the trenches of motherhood with TWO babies under two... I was tired, I was trying to find myself again while learning how to adjust to my new normal. I knew that I still wanted to pursue my long time dream of starting Rodeo Road Boutique, I knew that I still wanted to make an income while also being able to stay home and raise my beautiful babies. 

So with butterflies in my stomach, lots and lots of coffee, early mornings and late nights we launched Rodeo Road. 

We started SMALL and that's OKAY! I knew I needed funds to build Rodeo Road so I started a side hustle on top of my side hustle. I first started flipping furniture, making horseshoe art with old horse shoes from my husbands business and flipping used western clothing that I picked up at yard sales and thrift stores. Was it ideal?! Of course not.. Did it help me grow and get the job done? YES! I did what I had to do until I could do what I wanted to do. 

Now a couple of years later our business has grown into something so beautiful. We have shipped to every state in the US plus a few other countries. We have sold thousands and thousands of t-shirts and even offer wholesale and have multiple businesses carrying our products in their storefront. 

So go ahead and place a bet on yourself but once you do, make sure that you really see it through and give it a fair chance. It will get hard at times but you've gotta keep going. No matter what.

🎉 TWO YEARS 🎉

Two years ago today we launched Rodeo Road Boutique. This business has been a dream of mine since I was a teenager. I am so blessed that my dream has become my reality!

The last two years have been full of adventures, learning, winning, losing, challenges and so much growth! There have been days where I questioned why I started this business when I did, with our babies being at a young and very active age. There's been days where I've thought about throwing in the towel but most of the days I've felt excited, accomplished, proud, encouraged and motivated.

We have sold thousands of
t-shirts, hundreds and hundreds of hoodies, hundreds of ball caps and launched 32 designs and counting.
We've outfitted a she-shed, built 3 different booths (sorry babe 😅) outfitted a cargo trailer, moved to Montana, attended dozens of shows and had so many crazy adventures the last two years.

I am so grateful for Dawson, Layla and Gunner supporting me, encouraging me and always being there for me! Thank you guys for celebrating every "Cha-Ching" notification with me. Hearing the kiddos scream
"ORDERRR" while doing a happy dance and Dawson going "Yeahhh or Woohoo" while giving me a high five or fist bump so hard I think my hand might fall off 🤣 I love us and I love what we are building and knowing that this business is and will continue to serve us in a beautiful way.

Thank you SO much to every customer and friend we've made along the way. We wouldnt be where we are today without you!

Also, a HUGE thank you to our AMAZING graphic designer, she has brought every one of our designs to life in such a beautiful way!

My sister Loagan has also had a huge impact on Rodeo Road Boutique. She has always been my go to for second opions, advice, encouragement and sooooo much more! I always look forward to our weekly "Battle Calls" and appreciate them so much.

We've got some exciting new things in the works. I can't wait to share them with you all ❤
