Hunter and I had a great time last night at the Conservative Leadership Caucus and Lee County Trump Republican Club Christmas Party - such a fun and festive night with likeminded conservatives!

The attack on Pearl Harbor was sudden and without warning, killing over 2,400 Americans on that infamous day. Today, we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

23/11/2023

Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful to be blessed with a beautiful wife, two amazing sons, and a wonderful family. I wish you a blessed day with your friends and family.

The listening tour across Lee County continues! Thank you to everyone for sharing your perspectives and joining our team this week!

On Monday night, I attended Lee Republican Women Federated in Fort Myers to hear Brian Wright's moving perspectives and historical tours about World War II Battle Sites across Europe that continue to honor our Veterans and Allies.

Wednesday night I had a great time at the Lee County Trump Republican Club where I had the opportunity to listen to Todd Everly, Senior Director at SWFL Public Service Academy and Former Cape Coral Assistant Chief of Police. He gave us very good information about our Second Amendment Rights, and how to safely follow the newly passed Constitutional Carry laws. I am so grateful to live in the Free State of Florida!

It is my honor to have earned the endorsement of the Southwest Florida Professional Fire Fighters & Paramedics, which represents over 1,200 fire fighters, paramedics, and emergency medical technicians across Southwest Florida.

My commitment to public safety has earned me the trust and endorsement of the first responders who risk their own lives to protect us every day. The safety of our residents in Lee County is of paramount importance, and with your support, as County Commissioner I will work hard to keep public safety a top priority.

Great day at the Veterans Day parade! Jenna, Hunter, and I joined up with the Cape Coral Republican Club to honor our veterans, and ran we into to a few friends along the way. Hunter found the day to be exhausting! Thank you again for all who have served our great nation. Freedom is never free.

11/11/2023

To all who have served, thank you for your sacrifice. Happy Veterans Day!

We continued our listening tour across Lee County this week! I had a great time listening to my friend, State Attorney Amira Fox, speak about combating human trafficking and getting narcotics off our streets at Lee County Patriots in Cape Coral. I also had the opportunity to join my friend, Commissioner Kevin Ruane at his event in Bonita Springs.

Busy week out and about all across Lee County. Erika Donalds gave a great presentation on education at the Cape Coral Republican Club, Todd Everly spoke on our 2nd Amendment rights at the Burnt Store Republican Club and Commissioner Kevin Ruane gave an update on hurricane recovery resiliency at the SWFL Republican Club in Bonita. I am working hard to earn votes in every corner of Lee County!

I had a fantastic time last night at the South Fort Myers Republican Club! It was wonderful to be in a room full of conservatives who share my values and to hear from my friend Kevin Karnes, the Clerk of Court and Comptroller.

19/10/2023

Florida has the most conservative and effective legislature in the nation, and I could not be prouder to have the support of these six legislative leaders from Southwest Florida. I am so grateful for their service to our state, and their belief in our campaign. This is a testament to the strength of our conservative message, and I am excited to announce more endorsements soon.

Last night the Horizon Council held a welcome ceremony from Horizon Council for new president FGCU, Aysegul Timur.

She is the 5th president of the University and that has grown from 2500 students in 1997 to over 16,000 in 2023 while becoming a cornerstone in our Southwest Florida community!

Yesterday, at the Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce we heard from Ashleigh Droz who leads Florida Gulf Coast University’s Intern and Career services. Ashleigh gave an impressive presentation on how companies can work with the University to recruit talent. As a business owner, I know it can be hard to find good interns, partnering with FGCU is a great tool for business owners like myself to recruit students!

LARC has dedicated itself to meeting the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families living in SWFL for nearly 50 years.

Unfortunately, Hurricane IAN destroyed the house in N. Ft Myers that that adults with developmental disabilities have called home for more than 25 years.

Last Thursday I was honored to attend the groundbreaking of a new house that will provide a new home for those displaced by the hurricane. I cannot thank the good folks at LARC enough for the amazing work they do!

Such an honor to attended the reception for the 25th Honor Flight. This was truly a great patriotic experience honoring some real American heroes. Unfortunately, many of these veterans never experienced the honor of a proper “thank you" for their service when they arrived home the first time. I was proud to be there to give them the long overdue respect they deserve.

Beautiful ceremony today on Fort Myers Beach remembering those that lost their lives in Hurricane Ian one year ago. As the rebuilding process continues, there is an ovwhelming attitude of resiliency and it is apparent the Beach spirt is tough and has not blinked in the face of adversity. The unveiling of the Times Square clock was symbolic of the progress being made and the hope of a new future for the island.

It was an absolute honor to have Governor DeSantis ask to meet Hunter yesterday. Not only is he one of, if not the best Governor in Florida's history, he is also a good man. I am thankful for his leadership throughout the pandemic and hurricane response.

Hunter, Charlie, and I were honored to join Jenna at the designation ceremony for incoming Speaker of the Florida House Daniel Perez. It was great to see Lt Gov. Jeannette Nunez, Florida CFO Jimmy Patronis, Speaker Paul Renner, Majority Leader Mike Grant, future speaker Sam Garrison and so many others. I am so excited that Hunter and Charlie were able to experience this historic moment.

City Councilman Bill Steinke gave a fantastic overview of current projects happening in Cape Coral last night at the Lee County Patriots meeting. Two "safe havens" will open this evening at 7 p.m. These are not shelters. They are a safe place for anyone who does not feel secure in their housing situation. If you are living in an Ian-damaged home or a trailer or a motorhome, we suggest staying with family or friends or going to one of these locations. If you need information on transportation help to get to a safe haven, or more information and preparedness resources visit leegov.com/storm.

We are monitoring Tropical Storm Idalia and its potential impacts to Lee County. Residents should prepare for heavy rainfall and tropical storm-force winds. Support continues to roll in, and I am very excited to announce we have received the endorsements of Lee County School Board members: Chairman Armor Persons, Vice Chairman Sam Fisher, and Jada Langford Fleming. These three School Board members have worked hard to bring conservative principles to the school district and empower parents to have more control over their children's education. I am very proud of their work, and I am proud to have them on our team.

Ferreira Neto, Ph.D Director of RERI FGCU, and John Talmage, Director of Lee County Economic Development, on the different fields of construction in wake of inflation and post Hurricane Ian. Helping our community rebuild from Hurricane Ian will be a top priority of mine as your next Lee County Commissioner.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Scot Burris and Brian Cassell for giving me a tour of Storm Smart last week. They are a great example of a local success story that was founded here in Lee County and are rapidly expanding their business! They employ over 400 people and support the community very generously and have committed to keeping their Headquarters here in Lee County.

They build a great product, have outstanding customer service and reputation here for decades, and I am honored that they are also supporting me and my campaign
