Converted this garage in to a fully functioning gym this time last year. The photos of it in current use kindly provided by my customer to show just how good it is one year on having had daily use over the period

On arriving at site this Friday morning, this is what I was greeted with. My lovely client had prepared a thank us Friday breakfast

Day 25 and weather permitting, just render to do to complete

Watertight now with temporary surface cover, waiting on EPDM to arrive. Thanks as always to Simon Griffin and Stuart for all their hard work

Day 4 and concrete foundations poured today in the dry

Three days into the start of another Extension build and all footings hand dug and ready for concrete pour

Another knock through boarded, plastered and decorating in process

Another kitchen install coming on nicely

Extension going up nicely notwithstanding the current shortage in the supply chain for building materials. Brickwork is a Grosvenor County mixture overhung the damp course and with dyed and recessed pointing

The early stages of an extension which required an engineered foundation of 2.5 meters deep due to the proximity of a tree 3 meters away. I always recommend to clients when considering structural alterations to firstly seek the advice of an Architect and Structural Engineer as their advice can be invaluable

Internal alterations and kitchen fit with built in WC under the stairs made harder by work in the distant past having buried a concrete lintel in the wall above a catnic which was a challenge to remove. New water main installed under 17 meters of front garden to within the property. The pipe is tunneled underground to reduce disruption to existing property

Completed kitchen and in full use. On to the next project
