Buy Less 〰️ Choose Well 〰️ Make it Last

Embrace slow fashion, choose pieces that last and that you absolutely love. Value people and the environment over trends and disposable fashion. You’re more likely to buy less and keep things longer if you connect with clothing - if you know where your clothes come from and who made them 💙

Archdale is a new eco-conscious brand that embraces slow fashion.

Its founder, artist Natasha Archdale, was inspired by her grandmother’s wardrobe. These were the versatile dresses worn by the London ladies about town in the mid-20th Century, who wafted from lunch spot to cocktail party with apparently effortless ease. Natasha figured that the time-poor women of today deserve access to the universally flattering silhouettes of that time; beautifully and sustainably made.

Natasha still wears these vintage pieces 60 years later on and has used their designs as a starting point to create a line of dresses infused with both a retro charm and a sharp, modern sensibility. These are dresses that are investment pieces; built to last..

The Blue Dress, which took six months to perfect, is the inaugural Archdale piece. Made of 100% cotton, woven in a traditional Lancashire mill, it is based on the classic but flirty mid-century tea dress, given weight and relevance through use of corduroy. Bespoke versions are available.

Archdale dresses are limited edition, made to order, with an ever-evolving collection. Archdale London launches with a relentless drive to find new ways of improving fabric sourcing and production to help protect our planet.
