Chris Bailey for Grand Ronde Tribal Council
Honoring our ancestors through serving our future generations.
Thank you to everyone who supported me. It wasn’t the result that I was hoping for but there will be other opportunities in the future. I’ve learned a lot and will continue to be active and use my voice for the betterment of us all.
Congratulations to Lisa, Chris, and Matt. I am confident that you will work to improve the lives of our people and secure our future.
Hayu Masi.
It's the eve of my first Election Day as a candidate for Tribal Council and there is so much on my mind. I was somewhat nervous at first because we have had some pretty nasty races in years past. This year has felt like a change of pace compared to those previous elections. It seemed like extreme partisanship and personal battles haven't been front and center. All the candidates have had their own path and have shown respect towards each other. Hopefully this trend can continue through future elections.
I personally have learned a lot over this last summer and am excited to see how everything plays out. My campaign hasn't been a loud, high profile affair as I have relied on the support and voice of community and families that know and trust me. I want to thank all of you who have put you faith in me. It means so much that you are willing to entrust me with taking on this important leadership role for our people.
I plan on voting in person tomorrow, and if you weren't able to mail your ballot in, I ask that you please make the trip and cast your vote in person. It is such an important duty that we all have as Tribal Members and it would be amazing to see greater numbers of our people using thier voice to help influence our future.
Hayu Masi to all of you who have already mailed your ballots in. Hayu Masi to all of you who are planning on voting in person.
Hayu Masi to all of you who have supported and encouraged me.
I can't believe that the day is finally near and whoever end up serving for these next three years, I wish them strength and wisdom to do what's right by our people.
Hayu Masi.
Hope to see you all there!

Just a reminder that the candidate forum is tomorrow. This is a first for me so I'm pretty excited. Apparently it will be via zoom for audience members so you may need to reach out to Stacia for a link.
Can't wait to hear from the membership and my fellow candidates.
Still have a stack of sign looking for a yard. If you or someone you know wants to show your support, feel free to reach out and I can get some delivered. Thanks and have a great weekend!
My campaign signs have arrived! Let me know if you want one and we can figure out how to get it to you.
Hello and welcome to my page. My name is Christopher Bailey and I am running for a Tribal Council seat for the Confederated Tribes Of Grand Ronde in 2023. I want to use this page to allow fellow Tribal members a chance to get to know me before the September election. I will be posting periodically on here and opening up my messages for any who want to contact me. I'm looking forward to a competitive and respectful campaign season and am excited to talk to you.
