Hummingbirds fascinate me and are one of my favorites to watch. These are some of my favorites I captured today along with some interesting facts!
• Their wings beat about 40-50 times per second in normal flight.
• They can fly about 25mph in normal flight and up to 40mph in a courtship dive.
• They can consume up to 50% of its weight in nectar each day.
• Their nest is slightly bigger than a walnut & their egg is about the size of a small jellybean.

Welcome to Monarch's Wings Photography!!
I have always had a passion for photography and God's beauty. Since my knee surgeries and now the coronavirus spread, I'm taking up that passion and will be sharing God's beautiful masterpieces with everyone! I have a couple reasons behind naming it Monarch's Wings Photography. If you know me, you know I love butterflies. They're a symbol of resurrection and around the world, people view the butterfly as representing endurance, change, hope, and life. Also when my dog H***h passed away, his song was hoping he was chasing butterflies. When I revisited the lavender & sunflower fields we had last walked through together, a monarch butterfly followed me around in the sunflowers like H***h walked through them with me. And that butterfly is the profile picture for my page. 🦋
