In my opinion the mobile bartending industry started in the prohibition era. Which is where we get a lot of our inspiration. In 1920 the 18th amendment to the U.S. constitution banned the transportation, manufacturing, and sale of all liquors. This went into effect with the passage of the Volstead Act. Because of the rise of illegal sale (bootlegging), speakeasies (illegal bars), and gang violence this was the rise to end. In 1933 congress adopted a proposal of the 21st amendment to the constitution that would appeal the 18th amendment. On December 5th, 1933 the amendment would finally come to an end.
