This year, I spent veterans day with so many kind and selfless men and women distributing groceries to our local elderly population. Not only is volunteering a great way to help others but it’s a great way to connect with other kind, and like-minded individuals. Everyone I met was so passionate about helping others and I am definitely looking forward to going back to volunteer with Fairhill Partners again 🥕

My name is Lauren Toledo, and I am so excited to formally introduce myself as United States of America’s Miss Ohio 2024 👑

I am from Cleveland, OH. I have always had a passion for helping others and bringing a smile to their faces, so naturally I decided to pursue a career in dentistry 🦷

I am currently a practicing Doctor in Ohio. My goal is to raise awareness for women’s education. I hope to remind each and every women of how capable they are, and to help them to recognize that with the help of education they can do and be whatever they dream ✨

This was such and amazing and inspiring set of delegates! I am honored to have shared the stage with them! ❤️

Tonight is finals! Rehearsing for the last time while sporting this amazing tank top for Pageants Live!

I’m so grateful for this opportunity and the judges were absolutely amazing. I’m feeling confident about my interview and myself as a whole. I can’t wait to see what the rest of this competition holds!

If I had the honor of becoming the next United States of America’s Miss I would work diligently with my platform, Autism Speaks. They may not have many physical events this year due to Covid, but they have virtual opportunities! I plan to travel to as many schools as I can to communicate the importance of inclusion and anti-bullying of those that may seem different.💙

Not only would I work with Autism Speaks, I would work closely with Animal Shelters all over the country! Animals have always been close to my heart, so I would love to spread the message, adopt don’t shop.. and if you do shop, shop responsibly! 🐶 Did you know there are approximately 6.5 million animals in animal shelters every year in the United States alone?

I can’t wait to travel to San Antonio and meet all the wonderful ladies competing for this job opportunity!

I am almost all packed for San Antonio because it’s only three days until the competition!

I had the honor of attending the USA National Miss Ohio Pageant today! All of the lady’s did a wonderful job and congratulations to all of the new queens! 👑

The American Cancer Society is close to my heart for many reasons. My mother is a survivor of Ovarian Cancer and my father is currently battling stage four cancer. Although there is no cure for his cancer, I am hopeful that one day there will be!🤍

This is why I am choosing the American Cancer Society as my charity of choice!

This Rodan and Fields Lip Serum is amazing! It keeps my lips soft and moisturized in the cold weather and I only have to apply it once before work! This is definitely going to be my go to for pageant week!

Do you guys want to know an interesting fact? I was a college graduate and a business owner by 18! 🌟
I went to college for Business Management and Operations because I always knew I wanted to be a business owner. Shortly after graduating with my degree, I decided to open a grooming salon- Galion Shampooch! 🐶🐱 It’s going on two years with the salon, and I couldn’t be more grateful!

🌟Interview🌟
It is seen as one of the most important aspects of the competition, and for that reason, it is my favorite. Interview gives you a chance to speak face to face with the judges and let them know about your platform, community service and yourself. It can seem daunting to some since it is never known what they will ask. This portion of the competition has helped me with my confidence the most. It has helped me build my “people skills” which are crucial for this job!

The first two pictures are from my first ever pageant. I competed at the Bucyrus Bratwurst Festival when I was 17, and a senior in highschool. 🌭
It opened a world of opportunities by meeting other queens, and building my confidence to compete state wide, and now nationally at the United States of America’s competition!🇺🇸

Today I had the opportunity to donate these new fleece blankets to Harmony House Homeless Services in Mansfield, Ohio. Happy New Years Eve to all!

Today I dropped off fleece kennel blankets for the cats at the Humane Society of Crawford County. Rescues are close to my heart as I have two of my own! Hopefully these can keep them cozy and warm until they find their forever families!

With the holiday season coming up I wanted to do something for our local nursing homes... Today I dropped off Christmas cards for all of the residents and staff at two of Galion’s assisted living locations!

I got my national headshots! I cannot wait to send this to the editor to finish up my ad page! We’re getting so close to the competition🎉
