Did you know there is no governing body that sets quality standards for the essential oil industry? That’s terrifying to me. That means no one except the company slapping the label on the bottle validates that what they claim is true. So when the label says “100% pure” or “therapeutic grade,” you can’t trust it. For this reason, we created our own quality standard called Certified Pure Tested Grade. We work with the best scientists and chemists in the world to ensure doTERRA’s essential oils are not only free of pesticides, synthetics, extenders, mold, and other harmful contaminants but also that no natural components from less expensive plant material has been added.
