GUESS WHO'S BACK, BACK AGAIN 😁

So, The Distressed Shed has been MIA for quite some time now! We had so much going on in our lives this past year that I didn't get to enjoy my side gig of renewing furniture. Things haven't settled down in the least bit, but I just had to start painting again and get distressed 😄

This piece has an amazing story behind it 🤍

My "customer" (aka friend) lost her father last year and her whole world turned upside down with his loss. She wanted to keep a piece of him in her family's home and knew that she needed to hang on to this hutch for some reason. The style definitely didn't speak to her, but the memories did 💟 She found an inspiration picture for the hutch, and thus began my challenge (how could I not choose to accept). To say I was nervous was an understatement, what if I messed up this family piece??!!

We actually surprised her on her birthday and revealed the piece... enter the water works 😭 and she was speechless. YAAAS!! Did it again, another satisfied customer 👍

Fast forward to last weekend when the piece was delivered to her home, and I get to see it in action, holding family dishes and displaying love ❤️

IT'S GOOD TO BE BACK 😉
