Easton put the state on notice, he is on a mission. E won tonight by a score of 9-4 against a very tough opponent from Tonganoxie, who was a 4a State Runner Up and 3rd place finisher. E is Tiger Style!

Easton is ready to let it fly today! Easton is currently # 7 All Class Ranking while his opponent is # 5 All Class ranking. Both E and his opponent are State Runner-Ups in their hs careers. Fun matchup between 4A and 321A wrestlers. Tiger Style!

A big thank you to this group of wrestlers that came in early on Saturday and moved all of the wrestling mats and gear over to the new facility! They knocked it out in 1.5 hours. Also, a big thanks for The Simmers, Smiths, and Bottorffs for providing their trailers. All the parents that showed up to help( Trisha Vessar, Jason Shannon Hawk Schletzbaum , Greg Smith, Jason Simmers, Justin Bottorff, Steven and Jeni Falk, and Coach Lane Chew) you always help prove my point, Wrestling Parents are the best parents!

Easton will be wrestling against Noah Bailey of Tonganoxie this Sunday. E is the defending 321A State Runner-up while Bailey is a 4A State Runner-Up and 3rd place finisher. These two have never wrestled in high school. Great match up!

Early All-Class Pre-Season Rankings coming out. E made the list at 165 pounds # 7. Tiger Style!

Attention all Tiger parents and wrestlers next Saturday, October 21st will be our move in day to our new practice facility in the multi purpose room. This is an exciting time for our wrestling program. We are needing help in moving all the mats, gear, and ect over to our new facility. We are getting a couple trailers lined up so we can load the mats up on them and move them. We would like all wrestlers and parents to come help make this move as quick and easy as possible. I estimate with everyone's help we can be done in a couple hours. We will start loading up mats and gear at 9 am. Please spread the word. Thank you and Tiger Style!

On October 22nd E will be competing @ Rose Hill High School in an All-Star Dual. The Dual will consist of some of the toughest boys and girls from across the state. This is the first year this awesome event will be put on. Tiger Style!

Meet State Finalist, Easton Schletzbaum of ACCHS! Easton accepted the Kansas Bragging Rights Challenge and will be on the mat October 22 in Rose Hill!

Congratulations to Coach Cody Phillips on winning the Middle School Wrestling Coach of the Year for 2023! Coach Phillips received his award today at the Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association Banquet and Awards in Salina. Coach Phillips has spent the past 5 years as the head middle school coach and is now coaching Effingham Kids Wrestling Club . So much of our current high school wrestlers success is due to Coach Phillips and his passion for our program. We are very blessed to have him in our program! Tiger Style 🐅!

Easton Schletzbaum putting in serious work this off-season! E went to Fort Hays State (Division 2) and worked out at a one day prospect camp today. All this while still playing football! More news to come on E, but he was invited to an All-Star Dual Meet In Rose Hill later this month. More details will come later on. Tiger Style 🐅!

With the state tournament changing its location and schedule, we wanted to pass along this information as soon as possible. You'll notice this year the tournament will be ran in sessions. This is very similar to how surrounding states run their tournaments as well.

Little late posting, but congratulations to Kannon Crossland on going 7-0 at Midwest Beach Nationals at Lake of the Ozarks this past weekend! Kannon is another athlete that has put in a lot of time this summer and wrestled a lot of matches. He's going to have a big year! Tiger Style 🐅!

E finished up the 2nd day of the duals going 6-0 today. He was dominant the entire weekend finishing 11-0 with 8 of those wins as pins! E was also nominated for the Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament. That's Tiger Style 🐅! Congratulations E! Off season wrestling makes in season champions!

Congratulations to E on going 5-0 today down in Texas! E had wins over a fellow Kansan his first match 5-1, defeated a tough wrestler from a nationally ranked team Allen, TX 10-2 his second match, then pinned two other wrestlers from Texas, as well as pinned a Choctaw, Oklahoma wrestler. Tomorrow E will finish up the dual tournament with several more matches to go. Go Get Em! Tiger Style!

Easton Schletzbaum is heading down to Texas today to wrestle in a 25 team dual tournament featuring teams from California, Idaho, Oklahoma, Missouri, Louisiana, Indiana, and Kansas. E will be wrestling with the Texas Mauraders. E has been on a mission to get better after finishing as state runner up this past year. Great opportunity, go get em E! Tiger Style 🐅!

Go Get Em tomorrow Bricen! Tomorrow at 7:00 pm former Tiger stud Bricen Lee will be representing the east squad in the Shrine Bowl Football game at Fort Hays State University. Tiger Style 🐅!

Congratulations to these hammers, Easton Schletzbaum and Kannon Crossland traveling 3 hours to Nevada, MO and competed in a scramble tournament. Easton finished 3-0 and Kannon had the toughest pool going 1-2 losing to a tough 4th place medalist from Butler, MO 2-0. Boys got better, Tiger Style 🐅!

Our Tigers finished up camp going 4-5,but battled some tough teams from Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Great seeing tough competition from across the country. We got better! Thanks to Coach Chew, Coach Bottorff, and Greg Smith for helping Coach this week! TIGER STYLE 🐅!

Individual tournament wrapped up this evening, our boys battled hard and wrestled their best of the week. We had 3 wrestlers finish in the top 3 of their weight class. We will wrap up tomorrow with two more duals in the placement rounds.

The Tigers went 1-1 today beating Antioch, Illinois and losing to Grant, Wisconsin. The boys will have an individual tournament starting tonight at 6:30. Tiger Style 🐅!

ACCHS 36 Wheaton, Illinois 36---we tied but we lost on criteria giving up 6 pins to 5.

We will have 2 duals tomorrow as well as an individual tournament.

The Tigers are currently 3-0 in dual competition as we just wrapped up our live session. We will have 2 more duals tonight. Also, our Tigers aren't too shabby in dodge ball finishing as 2nd place winners in the tournament amongst all the camp teams! Tiger Style 🐅!
