Sara: Lilipad na ang Agila

BAKIT SI INDAY SARA?

Maliban sa mga qualifications at track record nya bilang lider na nasulat na at malamang alam nyo naman na by now –

Maliban sa nananalaytay sa dugo nya ang dugo at genes ng mahal nating Pangulo (sampu ng mga aral at disiplina na naipasa at natutunan ng anak mula sa kanyang ama) –

Maliban sa mukha rin syang undeniably dyosa – and syempre, dyosas must flock together. Char!

Nakilala at nakasama ko sya sa ilang pagkakataon kung saan in-obserbahan ko talaga closely at inaalam kung ano'ng klaseng tao at lider nga ba sya.

Two things I personally observed and like most about her:

1. WORK DISCIPLINE

Iba. As many of her co-workers can attest, maaga sya pumapasok. Napaka-efficient at napaka-organized and always on time sa mga meetings.

Soft spoken but she's no non sense pag dating sa mga meetings.

Sweet but always very sharp. Decisive, too.

Straight to the point. She makes the most of her work hours and attend to as many important meetings as she can.

Di rin yan nauubusan ng ngiti at energy sa dami ng gustong magpa-picture sa kanya.

2. SUPER MOM, SUPER WOMAN

One time she was invited to speak sa isang event in Davao City where I was also invited to host a segment along w/ Bruce & friends. Dumating ba naman ang Inday 15-30 minutes earlier than her call time, around 6:45PM. Ang kaso, yung ibang mga guests ay (as usual) late and the crowd is just about to build up. She waited for about 30 mins., thereafter told the organizers that she really needed to leave. Reason: Her baby. I think she was still breastfeeding back then. She's really a hands on mom and want to devote her time for her children after work. Kaya talagang sa gabi, iniiwasan nyang tumanggap ng mga speaking engagements. This, I think, is also the reason why she was hesitant to run for the highest position.

This to me is important. We want the best for our children. Sila ang dahilan bakit natin ginusto at sinuportahan si Pangulong Duterte. Kasi mahal nya ang mga bata at kita natin how he was truly determined to fight for our children's welfare.

Yan din ang nakita ko kay Mayor Inday Sara Duterte. Isang mapag-kalingang ina at isang magaling, matapang, mapagmalasakit na leader.

I'm not just voting for her on May 9, I'm campaigning for her. I hope you, too, do. Please help us ensure her victory.

P.S.
And please, wag nyo naman saana sya bigyan ng presidenteng hindi team player. Please go for her partner BBM – or Ping, Isko, Abella, Gonzales, Pacquiao or anyone but that official na walang ginawa kundi kumontra for 6 years.

Tenant: Hindi pa pero kahit paano surviving. 5 days a week na ang pasok ng mga tao. Sana tapos na ang pandemya at di na mag surge ulit after election.

M: Oo nga. Sa dami pa namang nag-aattend ngayon ng mga rallies.

T: Di rin. In-edit lang naman nung iba para magmukhang marami.

(Napangiti na lang ako. Mukhang maka-Baby M si Kuya)

M: Sino ba iboboto nyo'ng presidente?

T: Basta ayoko dun sa babaeng candidate.

Me: (Nqpataas ang kilay ko at napaisip tuloy ako kung mysogynist ba itong si Kuya Tenant sabay tingin at turo ko sa kanya sa malaking malaking mukha ni Inday Sara na nasa suot ko'ng T-shirt at that time.) Eh Kuya, babae rin itong VP ko.

T: Iba naman si Inday. Sya rin naman VP ko.

In short, hindi naman pala sya galit sa babae in general. Ayaw lang nya dun sa isa. Linawin mo kasi Kuya as we do not tolerate discrimination. 🤭

Now, this is one of my reasons why I continue to post about our dear President (even while I'm sick) and remind everyone of how great he is. PRRD gave his all and sacrificed himself to protect us.

Marami syang binangga at maraming grupo ang nawalan ng kabuhayan at kapangyarihan dahil sa kanya – crime sydicates, drug lords & their protectors, greedy oligarchs & their puppets, aliens & their foreign-funded pseudo journos, etc. Lahat yan sila, babalikan sya pag wala na sya puwesto. Thus, it is just right that we also do what we can to somehow protect him.

How?

1. We start by keeping him relevant, well loved, and trusted by the Filipinos now and long after he leaves Malacañang.

2. We vote for those who will help us protect him and will not allow ICC.

WRONG! PRRD NEVER CHANGED HIS POSITION ON WEST PHIL SEA

SINCE 2016, malinaw at paulit ulit na niyang binabanggit at ipinaglalaban ito habang pilit din niyang dinadaan sa diplomasya para hindi ito mauwi sa gyera. (See below screenshot)

Tulad ng madalas niyang sabihin:

"At the proper time and forum, I will deal with the international arbitral ruling on the South China Seas."

He did so (again!) wisely, strategically, and diplomatically at the 75th UN General Assembly.

Kung gina-gago tayo ng isang bansa at inaagawan, pasasakayin, bobolahin, at gagaguhin nya rin sila. Tulad ng madalas niyang sabihin, gaguhin tayo ng sampu, ibabalik niya ng dalawampu. Tratuhin tayo ng patas, ibabalik din niya ito ng higit pa.

I see he is a realist and a master strategist. I see a political genius who did his homework.

I see he is doing what he believes is best for our country and our people.

I choose to see it that way and I choose to give him my trust. (Besides, what else have we got to lose? Spam? Maling? Taena naman, matagal ng nasa laylayan ang ating bayan.)

I just saw this now. THANK YOU SO MUCH for this powerful review of our film! Apparently, the film is so divisive: either you hate it to your very core or love it to your very soul. It was meant to move people emotionally: to touch them, to disturb them, to challenge them.

It's also nice to know there is no middle ground for . Whether the remarks are scathing or extolling, either way, the film has proven to be remarkable. And either way, it is a victory. I got the emotional response I wanted from them. Critical aggression.

Paolo Paraiso couldn't have said it better: "We made a film that we are proud of, and that's what matters most. Wala naman silang nasabi sa artistry nung film. Puro tinitira nila yung politics nung film".

It was supposed to p**s off people who think that it's only their opinions that should matter. Even the so-called high-brow people and colleagues who didn't watch our film were soooo p**sed--despite not having first-hand information about the film. When people ask me if I get bothered by negative criticisms from the opposition, I tell them, "How can critics love the film? There's a blatant line there that says: 'Yan yang mga put@ang in@ng mga critics na 'yan!". And the character who said the line even proceeded to call them out saying: all they do is complain instead of being a part of change.

"At ang mga elitistang concerned, na para namang bibigyan ang mga rehab patients ng trabaho matapos silang ma-rehab!?!"

I think years from now, there will be protracted echoes of our film. And I believe in those years to come the message of our film will spread far and wide. And that's what the critics are afraid of... because then, they would have to get off their asses and put their money where the mouths are. Do the work instead of clacking on their keyboards just to derail people who are actually working for a better Philippines.

Once, there were filmmakers who were telling me that the President were killing innocent drug addicts.

"Innocent drug addicts"? Even the way they put it--the term they used, is a powerful !

So I told them that's not true, that there are 1.6M who surrendered, alive, getting-well, and are now at the Mega-Drug Rehab in Nueva Ecija. I am giving workshops there, just to give them something else to think about and perhaps a livelihood in the future. I told these intellectual friends of mine to come see for themselves and help me in giving workshops. They told me they're busy, they can't. Nice.

See, when you challenge a critic to be the change that they want in the world... they're suddenly busy. They can be a part of change but ONLY WHEN IT'S CONVENIENT FOR THEM.
