Hey everyone so I want to know what you all like as swag? I’m trying to come up with some swag ideas for when the paperback is finished! I’m looking at logo stickers and mini stretch handcuffs but need more ideas.

Two of the bonus entries have been edited fully and working on the third. These two were hard for me to write. It gets a little more into Ryder's past. One is from his mother, and the other is from his father.

I'm going to let my medieval history nerd show for a moment here. We were learning about this in class today and I found it super interesting and wanted to share. Many people know that modern society took a lot from Roman society. I found out that the way our books are printed and how we write is actually because of a Frankish king. who was also given title of emperor.

People found the Carolingian minuscule manuscripts around the time of the printing press, and believed that was the way that Romans had originally written, so that is what they based the printing press off of, and why the letters and words aren't just kind of mushed together. It was actually because of a Frankish king. I know that this is probably boring to you, but I find it fascinating and wanted to share it.

How many bonus entries do you all think should be in the Finding A New Normal Journal Edition? I already have a few but keep coming up with some ideas!

As we draw closer to Valentine’s Day I thought I’d give you a little insight into Hope for Valentine’s Day. I didn’t even know if I would be able to write a Valentine’s story because of personal reasons. I’m not a fan of Valentine’s Day and haven’t been since middle scho, so I took a different approach to this story.

This story has a small amount of romance in it but I used it to touch on some very big topics. It touches on abuse, homophobia, friendship, and grief. I wanted this story to be able to touch on those subjects because this is a Christian series and I wanted to show the view set I believe Christian’s should have rather than the one people see every day. That being said these are not shoving religion down your throat either. Many people who are not Christian have enjoyed this series for the drama and mystery.

Hope for Valentine’s Day

Ryder and Makayla have been through a lot in the last three and a half months. They've started to deal with their own grief, but now they are realizing who else was affected by the deaths of their family. Can Ryder help their friends to cope with the death of his dad, Sydney, and Lucas, or is he still to lost in his own grief.

Now it's the week of Valentine's Day, and the week of the two year anniverserary of their mom's death. They've went two years without knowing who hit their mom with the car. What happens when the night of the youth group's Valentine's party Ryder and his friend Jason overhears something their not supposed to. Will they be able to have closure for one of the tragic deaths of their family.

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and also Jólabókaflóð this is a Nordic holiday that mainly takes place in Iceland. It takes place every year on Christmas Eve. It started during world war II because of the restrictions to foreign trade. It is a tradition where on Christmas Eve you give the gift of a book and get one also. You spend Christmas Eve reading and eating chocolate.

Iceland produces the most books per year especially around Christmas time so this tradition is called Jólabókaflóð or Christmas Book Flud. For Jólabókaflóð you exchange a book, usually one published within the last few months leading up to Christmas, with friends and family. Ashley Mohler and I started doing it last year.

18+ this is a very sexy reverse harem story. This was a really good book. I was kept entranced through the whole book Cyn is a lead singer in the band Cyanide and Sin which gets a steady gig. There is a lot of steam between her and a few others and she wonders could she have them all? I will definitely be reading the next book it was a great read.

Not exactly what I would normally read but that doesn’t mean I didn’t like it. I really liked this story and it kept me captivated. Johnathan was a human slave to a fairy queen. He’s finally on his way home free from the Queen but not done running yet. He’ll need help to stay free, but will he be able to trust anyone? Let alone the two fairy’s that truly want to be kind to him?

This book has been on my to be read list for awhile now and it did not disappoint. I loved this book! Lily is 15 and the suspect for a mass murder, but she didn’t do it and even she is not sure what really happened she was just following along like the other children. The detectives all think she is guilty all except detective Stacy. They aren’t the only ones looking into the case so is Xander Chase, Angel of death, he’s supposed to be showing his father, death, that he is ready to take his place. What happens when these lives collide?

18+ This was an amazing read! I really enjoyed reading this book. Alexia is a high school student on the brink of turning 18. she lives a typical life we’ll besides the fact that bothers her parents were grizzly shifters and she does not share the abilities. Her mates been cheating on her for a few months and she pretends not to notice to keep up her airhead act, while truthfully she’s the smartest girl in school. What happens when their new home room teacher is a hot grizzly shifter that brings out many hidden truths around these non shifter students? I recommend this book it does have a revenge massacre happen so expect violence!

I want to announce my NANOWri Month project.

It is a medieval paranormal fantasy book. It started out as a short story for my senior high school English class as a modern day fantasy, but it morphed into a medieval paranormal. I will be sharing my progress on it throughout the month on my author page K.D. Hilt and group Hilt's Reading Guild. I currently do not have a cover and have no idea what I will do for it.

This was such an amazing ending to the series. Not going to lie Ravenswood had me worried about how it was going turn out towards the middle of the book. To be fair I still hadn’t fully recovered from the Heart ache in book two even if she did patch it up with book three.

I do know that this ended so wonderfully for the series. I also loved seeing Ada and her guys’ relationships grow even more along with others. Kali taking charge of her life was another bonus in this story. I would definitely recommend this book but start with book one, and don’t let the heart ache stop you.

Today’s been a bit emotional for me as an author. I published the final short story in the series. Now to go and do the first re-edits of the series to get ready to put it in journal format!

The seventh and final installment to the short story series Finding a New Normal is live.

This was such a good and short read. It's a paranormal story that involves a talking otter, mermaids, and a witch. Zara is a human median sent on a mission by a witch to save lost souls. The witch's brother's soul never reached its destination. Instead it got lost in the ocean. Mika the witch sends Zara as a temporary mermaid with only a certain amount of time to find and return the trapped souls.

Can Zara do this with the help of a talking otter and some mermaids she meets alone the way? Will everything work out for her in the end? Is it possible that she, a human, could fall for one of the merpeople? Pick up the book to find out!

This is a paranormal romance with dragons and gods. It uses Greek and Roman Mythology and is such a good read. Gardenia is a deity and in an act of rebellion sets out to create her own galaxy. When Zeus finds out he tries to stop her, but she completes it before her can. She finds herself being punished by Zeus by having to learn about the ten days of creation over fifty years. If she fails she has to relearn. She even gets to pick her teachers so what could go wrong? Right?

There is always the rare chance that the fates have chosen one of her teachers as her soulmate. Nothing too bad about that. Well except the fact that she chooses all dragons and guess what. That’s right the gods and dragons hate each other. Will everything work out for Gardenia or will fate have a different plan.

This was an amazing book. It started out kind of throwing you into it all at once but that didn’t affect the story at all. I normally hate books that throw you right into what feels like the middle of something, but this one was different. At first it seems you are in the middle of a story but if after a little bit you realize you were dropped there because it is the beginning of the story that is taking place and the middle of someone else’s in the book. I would definitely recommend. It is a paranormal romance focusing on vampires.

The relationship between Caith and Tiffany changes through out the story. You not only see their fake marriage but you also see the drama of his family. His three evil sister don’t think anyone is good enough for their big brother especially not a human, which is how the whole thing started. Will Caith get his sister to accept his girlfriend Colleen? Will him and Tiffany fall in love? Will his sisters win? Pick up the book and find out.

Title: Save the Last Dance

PNR I loved reading this book. It was so good and I didn’t want to put it down. I loved Veronica and Jackson and how they grow through the story. The two didn’t actually expect to find their mates at a ball set for Veronica to find hers. So when they find their true mates in a coffee shop because of running into each other and then he shows up at the ball and they come face to face again, what are they going to do? Seriously love this story and definitely recommend.

I am finishing Finding A New Normal series and have been thinking about my two other books. The paranormal fantasy book that was going to be modern is now planned to be medieval paranormal fantasy. I've always been fascinated by medieval history and realized that I've been writing it where if I change the way they send messages then it's pretty much a medieval time period.

An author friend Payne Craven has been having medical issues and just recently woke up from a coma. This auction is going to help with the family’s medical expenses.

My cousin has challenged me to write a book for him and I've decided that in order to do it I have to learn to draw people better, so it can be illustrated. The attempts so far are not great.

I’ve been really busy with moving so I forgot to post this review I recieved for A Homemade Holiday, even after asking their permission.

After this short story series is finished I’m going to have to work on both my other WIPs because my little brother and I came up with some cool swag for the paranormal one.

I’m almost finished with the 4th of July story. Now I’m trying to decide how many bonus entries the journal edition should have. This edition is going to be exclusively physical instead of ebook and it will be in past tense.
