Two of my films were accepted into the Sacramento International Film Festival, showcased on August 19th. This is for two separate categories; Category one - 48 Hour Film Festival: "Lost Keys" and Category two - Sacramento Gems: "INVASION". Yay!

**CASTING CALL** & Film Crew
2 STUDENT FILMS / NON PAY / NON UNION / Stockton, CA
FILM #1: Am I Dead – Casting Call: In a Post Apocalyptic world, a Rebel leader suffering from PTSD and memory loss discovers he's Mankind's last salvation. Leading what's left of his rebels against an Alien invasion, he has to deliver a captured alien weapon (Portal Gun) to a military lab facility that will replicate it and alter the course of the war.

Filming at Oak Grove Park in Stockton, located on Eight Mile Road also filming Downtown Stockton.

1. David Ascher - Rebel Leader filled
2. Ramona Troy - Rebel Second in command filled
3. Jacob - Rebel (Best friend to David) / Age: 20-30 filled
4. Lance - Rebel (one line of dialogue) / Age: 20-40
5. 4-5 extras – Actors in background shooting at aliens (no dialog) / Age: 20-40
This is a student film. Apologies no budget non pay. Cast and Crew will be fed and compensated for travel–gas.

FILM #2: The Fledgling – Casting Call: Krista, kind hearted and loved by the locals in her community is bitten by an infected Vampire suffering from Blood Rage, then abandoned. Now a newborn vampire she finds herself with no Sire to protect her or teach her the ways of a vampire and is completely alone and forced to live in an alley located inside the community she loves. When crime comes into her alley she finds herself feeding on those that plagued her community for years. Her only friend a homeless man who protects her along with a small band of locals who all know her secret.

My new Film... This is a script I've been writing for the past year; it's my first Feature film — a WESTERN! I'm half way through Act lll, afterwards, I'll go back to the beginning, rework and fine tune it. Then the real fun begins... getting cast, crew and locations, etc. etc. Filming starts in 2022-23.

Angel J. Productions is a page related to various film genres, documentaries and photography that either inspire, challenge or interest me. I dedicate this page to my late father, Angel John Perez, who inspired me to become who I am, an artist, a filmmaker, an intellectual and overall better person. Most of all he taught me not be afraid to pursue what I love. People say I take after him, I didn’t see it then, but do now. My father himself was an artist and intellectual, a kind man who helped others, loved his family and was generous to a fault. A man who wanted more from life for himself, but was not given the chance or opportunities to do so. Instead he bestowed his experience, wisdom and talents onto his daughters and only son, giving us the tools to help make us choose the best life possible. I hope I make you proud Dad!
