3 Bridges 5K Run & Walk The 3 Bridges 5K Run & Walk is on Saturday July 20, 2024.

Another majorly successful race in the books, and we have SO many people to thank!

First and foremost, the runners and walkers who support this event year after year. It's impossible to have a race if you don't have runners! Thank you for supporting this race, the Small Town Hope Foundation, and Grafton!

Secondly, a huge thank you to City of Grafton Police Department, City of Grafton Fire Department, City of Grafton Public Works, and Taylor County Sheriff's Department and EMS! Working with all of these agencies is a true delight, they make it easy and safe and we are forever grateful for their partnership and friendship!

We would be remiss to not shout-out a thanks to WVDOH and CSX as well, for permitting the lane closures and stopping trains to ensure a safe race for our participants!

Next, a huge shout out to Grafton High School, Taylor County Board of Education, and the staff and students of Grafton High School. The use of your facilities and amenities makes this race what it is today, and we are so grateful that you trust us to take care of your resources!

Last but definitely not least, a gigantic thank you to all of our volunteers! From those of you that work traffic stops, to Amanda Shingleton for taking our pictures, to DJ Deven, to Wes for keeping time, and all of those in between!

We truly cannot do this without all of you and we are so appreciative!

Now, to start planning for 2025!!!

Important info:

-Roads close at 8:15, runners please be onsite by 8am at the latest

-Race starts in front of GHS

-Packet pickup AND Day-Of Registration runs 7-8am
If registering today, please bring cash ($30) or
your phone and card to use the cashless pay

-Volunteers, please be onsite by 7:45 at Mary Battle Studio

Volunteers- please be at GHS in Mary Battle by 7:30am tomorrow morning for for safety briefing and post assignments at 7:45.

Attention Grafton:

Saturday, July 20th Traffic Delays and Interruptions!

Starting at 8:15am, there will be a DOUBLE LANE closure on Riverside Drive from Rt. 50 to Yates Ave. From there, a SINGLE LANE closure will be in place from the North Bound Lane on 119 across the Memorial City Bridge onto and down Main Street, to the right-hand lane on the Barret Street Bridge, down the right-hand lane on Front Street, turning right onto Walnut, turning left onto Maple, Right up Spuce, and right onto Beech, until turning back left onto Yates.

The traffic closures will be in place through approximately 10am.

We will have walkers and runners throughout the course and will do our best to allow traffic through when there are no race participants in sight.

Please, please exercise patience and the utmost caution to ensure everyone's safety throughout this charitable event supporting the Rinker family!
