Due to the extensive and irrepairable damage caused by two former members, Effigy Of Madness no longer exists.
Thankyou to the fans who stood by us and supported us.
Oz and Spud are retiring from professional music. Dan is looking for a new band. We wish him the best in his future music endeavours.

Effigy Of Madness unfortunately have to announce the departure of Robert King and Tim Goss from the band. We wish them the best.
Unfortunately all scheduled live shows are now cancelled as we reshuffle and rebuild. Spud will be moving back to vocals and we will remain a 3-piece until we can find a new guitarist.
Rest assured we will be back and kicking arse as hard as ever as soon as we can!!

Another Chatsteel announcement incoming!
As you know or maybe have just figured out by now we have a monthly residency at The Chatswood Club. What started out as a very cautious experiment has now become an absolute once a month Northern Sydney blast. So with things being quite concrete with us now we will start announcing more shows further in advance to give bands and fans more time to prepare and get excited for.
So with that let's roll out Metal On The Northside #8 which will take place on Friday February 10th. Once again you get 4 great bands for only $10, reasonable drink and food prices and a laid back and fun venue vibe. It's a once a month winning wonder.

Little snippet of another new song for the second album called "Deathlehem". This is a rewrite of an old somg that Spud, Oz and Tim used to play in a previous band. New sections, new lyrics, new vocalist... 🤘😁
After removing it from our rehearsal schedule over 12 months ago, "Evelyn" has returned. It's one of only two songs from our debut album never played live (the other being "Dead Dreams") so we hope it makes it's way into future setlists.
She lives again 🤘😁
Jam footage of another new song in the works for the second album called "Til We Die" from the rehearsal studio last Friday night. Our longest song so far, clocks in at just under 7 minutes 🤘

Effigy Of Madness would like to announce the addition of Robert King to the band as our lead vocalist and frontman!! Welcome to the band brother!!
Becoming a five-piece has been a discussion point within the band for some time and we believe we can be a much more powerful band with someone like Rob leading from the front. Looking forward to exciting and creative times ahead!! 🤘

Recorded in the studio exactly 2 years ago today. This song eventually became "Cold Blood" on our debut album. It had no lyrics back then and we were still tweaking parts of it. Dan had also only been in the band for a couple of months. Cool to listen back and hear how some of the songs have progressed.
