Great way to end the year by sweeping Island Magic. Had to fight for it and had some good fun doing so. Thx to for the rocket ship. That’s 5 from 5 to end the year, hopefully we can carry it into next year 👊

Good weekend at SMP for the final round of the NSW Championship. Finally a weekend without being caught up in a stupid crash or mistake. Thanks to Synergy Motorsport for the great car

Interesting weekend at Sandown last week. 3 red flags in quali meant I didn’t get a lap in. While I might have been able todo the fastest time, a procedural error got me a penalty that would start me P26 (last). Had a great race one. Making up 20 spots (6 on the last lap) in changing conditions. Race 2 wasn’t the best. Hit a cone passing for the lead which bent a few elements of the suspension. On the last lap I made a move which was deemed my fault. (A rule change caught me out). Race 3 wasn’t very long but I was able to make up 4 spots. The resulting penalty from race 2 was a DQ from Sunday. I believe it’s an unjust penalty, however that’s just the way it is. Head down for Phillip Island next month.

Had an awesome 4 weeks racing in 2 rounds of the FRP 1600 series over in America. The first weekend was held at Road America. Had awesome pace all weekend and was able to get one win in race 2. A small incident in race 1 cost me and getting taken out in race 3 ended any hopes of getting a good result (the video is of the second incident from that race). The second weekend was held at New Jersey Motorsport Park. Again the pace was excellent but getting taken out in race 1 cost a podium sweep (although it was still a good drive as I went from P22 to P6). In race 2 I just missed out on the win and in the final race I was able to end the trip on a high by taking the win. Big thanks to dad, @spectrum_and_sabre_racing_cars and a massive thanks to Justin from @synergy_motorsport for giving me a great car and organising the trip as a whole. Great to finally get my first national level podium. A good quali set me up for well for the three races and I was finally able to finish all three races. Couldn’t have done it without Justin from @synergy_motorsport. - For those curious about the race 2 incident. It was deemed a racing incident because I had substantial overlap and wasn’t given a cars width. Over the past 2 weekends I competed in the 3rd round of both Vic states and Nationals. The show I put on was about as good as it got in Tassie. Quali went well and so did 90% of race 1 until I made a slight mistake racing for the lead. Ruining my race. That started me off P11 in race 2. Went alright until I tangled with someone at the hairpin. In race 3 I started P16 and made my way up to P5. It’s a shame, I had the pace to win but it got away from me.

At Vic states I finally finished all three races. No slipstream in quali meant a P9 start. Made ground in race 1 finishing 3rd despite almost being taken out in a straight line 🥴. Race 2 was a wet one. Good pace meant a win there. Went wrong way with setup in the last race. Overall a satisfying weekend. Thx to for the great car over both weekends.

Racing the third round of nationals this weekend. Make sure to tune in

Over the last 2 weekends I competed Nationals and Victorian states. I had average weekend at SMP for the second round of the Australian Formula Ford Series. Had a bad quali but in race 1 I made it up finishing 3rd. In race 2 I was fighting for 3rd and got taken out down a straight. In the final race I had one of my best driving from 20th to 4th.

At Winton I had another unlucky weekend for the second round of the Victorian Formula Ford Championship. Didn’t get to grips with the car in quali and it hurt me in the opening race. DNF in race 2 hurt the championship. But again like last week I was able to drive from the back (P14) to finish in 6th. Hopefully we have a good one at Symmons Plains for the next round of nationals.

Up and down weekend at Morgan Park for the first round of nationals. Hindered in quali by a small issue. Had a good race 1 and 2 but unfortunately I had a DNF the final race. This cost me 3rd for the round. Anyways onto Eastern Creek in a month 👊

Back to back state round wins at Sandown! Great way to start the year. Quali wasn’t too good. Almost getting into a big crash ruined the session. Made good progress in race 1 that set me up for winning both races on Sunday. Thanks to Justin Synergy Motorsport for the great car.
