Tinyplants
Pop-up plant retailer operating in Southern California, specializing in drought tolerant plants
Today is our final Tinyplants plant sale, from 10am-2pm. After today, retail sales will go on hiatus, but stay tuned while Growing Works strategizes their plan to resume in the future. It has been a joy to build Tinyplants over the past four years, and I am so grateful for .rodriguez.229’s mentorship and support during the pandemic. In that time, we have generated over $100,000 in revenue for horticulture and mental health recovery programs. Come out and get some plants and say goodbye! 👋 And follow Growing Works Nursery, 1736 South Lewis Road, Camarillo, CA for updates!
Pampasgrass and jubatagrass outcompete native plants, create fire hazards, and have serrated leaf edges that can easily cut skin.

Celebrate your love for all things botanical at The Oaks by creating your very own wreath covered with succulent plants. Space is limited so be sure to get your ticket now! https://www.eventbrite.com/e/succulent-wreath-workshop-at-the-oaks-tickets-918505262967
If this event is sold out, no-show spots will be given to walk-up guests on a first come, first serve basis.
You don’t need to bring anything—participants will all be provided with a topiary forms, succulents, and all supplies needed. The only limit is your own imagination.
Your succulent creation can last months if kept in a cool, dry place with bright light. Or, re-use the succulents by removing them and placing them in your garden or a pot when you are done.
This workshop will be taught by staff from Growing Works Nursery, a program of Turning Point Foundation. This local non-profit is deeply committed to building a healthier community by offering compassionate and proactive treatment for adults struggling with mental illness, many of them homeless and/or veterans.
