Travel with Tara for the month of April as she road trips from Newport Maine to the Grand Canyon Arizona. Join with your yoga practice as she leads Mindful Mondays on a class trip and explores the many options for practicing yoga from the road! Beauty will abound and inspire you. Class will be offered in a link format, live if possible, time-changes notwithstanding. There will be multiple classes of differing lengths in this very special event. This month-long adventure is just $35.

In addition to yoga’s well-documented methods of promoting health and happiness. it also has the ability to help you lose weight, burn calories, boost metabolism and reduce stress. yoga can be an excellent long-term tool for losing weight and keeping it off!

Metabolism consists of the chemical processes that create energy in the body that are regulated by the endocrine system, especially the thyroid. Yoga has a powerful stimulating and strengthening effect on the endocrine organs and thus can boost metabolism to burn more calories. Twisting and compressing yoga postures massage the endocrine and abdominal organs, regulating their function, improving local circulation and cleansing them of old stagnant toxins.

Gunner is in heavy mediation again!!! I did another core yoga session, I have injured my elbow or ligaments in there so I had to modify alot but hey my abs are still on fire! And i got some grounding and breathe work in. Hope you are all safe and healthy and taking the time for yourself. ✌️♥️Namaste

Day 6 ...intergrate... After trying to eat my comforter, my dust ruffle, and slinking of the bed into a tote onto me and locking his mouth on a rock he sleeps...lol. Learning little puppy! He will definitely know what yoga means by the time we are done. ! Peace love and light;) stay safe and healthy every one. Side body stretched felt good today. ✌️♥️

Meet my new yoga side kick everyone! It's going to be a task to teach him this is chill time at 4 months, but we are going to try ....
I hope everyone that can is doing their part and staying home for the next 14 days.. I am going to try and do a 14 day yoga challenge and include my side kick. Hope fully by the end he will understand it's yoga time when he sees the mat. Anyone want to do this with me?????

Hi everyone,
Funny how sometimes we get just what we need. The program I have been following was all about balance today. Today's thought. " I'm not trying to create balance, I'm trying to return to it, it's my natural state. " I read that our journey on our mat is not a journey to become a different person, rather a journey that takes us back to ourself, our true self!
I like that thought. We create space for our true self to shine through. Hope you all make the time for yourself today. Even if it's just a quiet 5 minutes to breath and quiet the mind. :)

Hi everyone, I have been making it to the mat but struggling to be in the moment. Today was better. Balance poses really force me to put my head into the game and that is what I need right now. That's what feels good, being able to be present. I've been struggling lately but it's the struggle that connects us, right?! Not the perfect social media lives we all share and get caught up in. So I'm sharing mine with you. My heart has been heavy, today was a shift forward, accepting where I am. Here. Now. With my feelings. Till tomorrow, Namaste my friends! ✌️❤️🧘‍♀️

As I dragged myself to my mat tonight, low energy and reluctant, that energy quickly turned to a gratefulness. Grateful I am capable enough to be here, grateful that everything in this moment aligned for me to be right here on my mat.
Today's yoga was very much focused on the (asanas) poses, However not about doing them perfectly. More about listening to your body and finding that happy spot where it just feels good. The perfect spot that only you know is perfect. Slow mindful movements turning inward and listening to that inner voice!
Tonights thought...
Have a grateful heart, sit quietly, close your eyes and think of a few things your grateful for. Really feel them, notice how your heart feels lighter, happier. Allow yourself to soak it in.
So many amazing moments happen on the mat. I truly hope your finding the time to just show up for yourself! From my heart to your heart,✌️❤️🧘‍♀️ Namaste!

Today's time on the mat was all about healing yourself with quiet slow movements. Wrapping your self in the same nuturing hug you give others that are most dear to your heart.

Hi yogis!

My name is Tara and I started in my journey with yoga about 3 years ago. I left my living room and started classes, the growth that came with that was amazing. I am much more grounded, breathe deeper and have found a lot more peace in my life. Through the power of breath and stretching in yoga I found a deeper sense of inner peace. I have fallen in love with my yoga journey and now want to share this amazing gift with you
