In the modern era, the concept of po*******hy has been widened. Po*******hy has now been categorized into softcore po*******hy and hardcore po*******hy. The only point of difference between softcore po*******hy and hardcore po*******hy is that softcore po*******hy does not depict pe*******on, while hardcore po*******hy depicts pe*******on.
There are different provisions in different statues of India which deals about po*******hy.

Section 53 of the Indian Penal Code talks about different kinds of punishment. This post talks about some crimes in which the death penalty is given .
Three gender-biased provisions of Indian law :
1. Under section 37 of the special marriage act of 1954, only the wife is entitled to permanent alimony and maintenance, unlike the Hindu marriage act, 1955 where both men & women are entitled to the same.
2. Under the Hindu adoption and maintenance act of 1956, parents are responsible for the maintenance of a girl child till she's on her own or till the time she gets married.
On the contrary, a boy is legally entitled to maintenance until he turns 18.
3. Provisions under the Hindu succession act 1956 are such that, in the absence of a will by a deceased, the father would be entitled to the property *only if* the deceased doesn't have a spouse, mother or children. In clear words, it means, in the absence of a will, primarily the spouse, mother and children will inherit the property belonging to the deceased.
Special thanks to these Little hearts, soon their Art Gallery will also be shown to all.🤓🤓🤓🤓 thanking all the beautiful hands who participated in the competition and helped in awareness about the law.

Remuneration means the basic wage/salary, and any additional emoluments payable, either in cash or in-kind, to a person employed in respect of employment if the terms of the contract of employment, express or implied, were fulfilled. The chief motive of the Equal Remuneration Act 1976 is to provide for payment of remuneration to men and women on a uniform basis. In order to avoid discrimination against women and to treat the women in a fair and just manner, this act is brought into force.
