Took the chance to see the beautiful cathedral lights tonight before the wet weather arrives!

Kicking off the night with the kids' songs on repeat!
After that we will have the full set list til 9:30pm- including a new Taylor Swift Mash Up!
We have already had a Grinch steal the iron bench seat we leave out the front for people to watch the show 😭

We have fallen a little behind this year...bit off more than we could chew (while working and being parents!)
The third and final of our new "blinky boxes" is just about ready to power up the extra pieces of our show.
Looking back on last year's display, we watched this for hours on end with the kids... This year's plan is twice as big and then some!
Here's hoping it all works when we finally get the chance to put it up next weekend.

Everything you see in our display has been made by our little family.
Tonight we put the finishing touches in the mega tree base.
The first set of arches have passed the test!

Arches are finally in production...
Building a display when you have a large front yard means you go big apparently...
3.3m bullet pixel arches ...can't wait to have things ready to test soon.
38 degree day here yesterday, hopefully not so bad when we head into the shed to drill the holes today.
