Let's talk mental and emotional health.

One of the biggest challenges is recognizing and dealing with triggers.
This has got to be the "easiest" technique we recommend. And when we say easiest, that's because it involves only 2 steps. But it takes energy, determination and practice to achieve!

OBSERVE
Pay attention to your emotions and behavior once you are triggered. Like a body scanner, use your inner "eye" to do a full body check-up. Ask yourself:

🌀 How do I feel?
🌀 What is happening in my body?
🌀 Am I in fight, flight or freeze mode?

DON'T REACT
Step away from the place, situation or person that is causing this reaction. Take time to breathe and relax until your emotions and thoughts subside. Then, analyze the situation and deal with it.

There is nothing better than knowing yourself. It is an ongoing process.

Unani medicine is widely practiced in many parts of the world, particularly in the Middle East, South Asia, and North Africa. It has been recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a traditional medicine system and is gaining increasing interest in the Western world.
