Hey Everyone! I have one more race in Belgium before heading home to Charlottesville to witness the birth of our first born! Woo!
During that short period in VA, I’ll also be training on my home roads 🇺🇸 in preparation for the 🇪🇸
Jenna and I would like to thank everyone involved, including our event partners ( and ), prize contributors (separate post coming soon), and our core volunteers .cheney9
The last few months have been hectic to stay the least, but as I reflect, the virtual edition of Ride Home Roads was definitely a bright spot and one to be proud of.

This morning's marvelous, merry, meandering, metric with .latoff included a brief detour and stop at the Iwo Jima Marine Corps Memorial. Sure, we have a lot of traffic in the DC area, but we have great cycling (and the cyclists were out, in force, on McArthur Boulevard today)... and MONUMENTS ...and ... MUSEUMS galore! A startlingly gorgeous morning, but it sure felt like summer was over. Gloves? Vest? Long sleeves? Knee warmers? SERIOUSLY?!?!?
