My name is Paige Jaramillo and as the ballots are dropping for the primary, I’m reaching out on behalf of Judge Dave Larson regarding his candidacy for Position 2 on the State Supreme Court to make sure that you include him in your recommendations to your constituents and support him in other ways.

This is the first time in twelve years that there is an open seat – the first opportunity for Washington voters to decide who is going to represent them on the state’s highest court.
For the past 12 years, we have been subject to gubernatorial appointments with no confirmation process whatsoever.

169 out of 205. That is the current total number of judges selected by one person, Jay Inslee, all of whom are sitting on the bench in Superior Courts, the Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court, ruling on issues that greatly impact our state. We cannot lose this rare opportunity to get a clear-thinking justice on our state's highest court.

The person who fills that position should be someone who has actually served as a judge, who believes in upholding the state and federal constitutions, and who will not legislate from the bench.

That person is Judge Dave Larson.

In order for us to get him there and change both the State Supreme Court and Washington for the better, we will need support from you, your PCOS, and your constituents. We urge you to be active in supporting Judge Larson in the primary and general elections, and we’re seeking your support in the following ways:

1. Include Judge Larson in any phone calls (GOTV or otherwise);
2. Include Judge Larson in any sample ballots or other materials printed for distribution;
3. Include Judge Larson in any door-to-door leafleting efforts;
4. Include Judge Larson in any email and/or social media campaigns.

With your help and coordination, we have no doubt that we will see a successful change in the State Supreme Court and in Washington as a whole.
