A Led Zeppelin CLASSIC, this reimagining of KASHMIR Akoustic features incredible vocals from Johnny Rossa!
TIMELESS & EPIC - This song has been a lifetime favorite song of mine! I created this arrangement inspired by hearing the late Kevin Gilbert’s interpretation of it over 30 years ago.
I arranged it for solo guitar, showed it to Johnny and we literally recorded it in the studio very quickly (pretty much one take each) with a couple minor edits. Its pretty close to a live, raw recording with the exception of not tracking the guitar and vocal at the same time.
The alternate guitar tuning and way the song combines multiple meters of time create such unique and truly epic sonic landscape that combined with Johnny’s incredible vocals - it packs a POWERFUL punch.
