Dear Students,
Warm regards, as the Zcas U legal clinic, we are passionate about the well-being of every citizen. This includes children, adults, and senior citizens. For this reason, we have come up with a few ways in which we can aid the following groups in various ways according to our capacity.
As we prepare for the new semester, we have a special request. We are kindly requesting that each one of you purchase an extra book or two and sanitary towels as you will be buying your semester groceries. These items will be donated to an orphanage (TBA)
Your corporation will be highly appreciated.

Happy International Women's Day to all the remarkable women of Zambia !Today, we celebrate the incredible contributions and achievements of women in our society.
As the ZCAS law association, we are proud to recognize the remarkable progress made by women in the legal profession. We have seen more and more women excel in the field of law, breaking barriers and pushing the boundaries of what was once thought possible.
However, we must also acknowledge that there is still much work to be done. Women continue to face discrimination and inequality in various aspects of life. This is why we must continue to stand up for gender equality and women's rights.
As we celebrate this day, let us commit ourselves to promoting gender equality, supporting women's empowerment, and advocating for women's rights. Let us work towards creating a world where every woman is valued, respected, and has the opportunity to reach her full potential.
Once again, Happy International Women's Day to all the amazing women out there! Let's continue to make our mark on the world
To the Zambia Open Community,
We are deeply saddened to hear of the loss of your esteemed lecturer . On behalf of ZCAS Law School, we would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the faculty, staff, students, and family of the deceased during this difficult time.
The passing of such a learned and experienced educator is a great loss not only to the Zambia Open community but to the legal profession as a whole. We acknowledge the invaluable contributions that the late lecturer made to the development of legal education in Zambia and the impact that they had on the lives of their students.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this period of mourning. We urge you to take comfort in the knowledge that your loss is felt by many, and that the memory of your late lecturer will live on through the lives that they touched and the knowledge that they imparted.
May the family and friends of the late lecturer find comfort in the outpouring of love and support from the legal community and beyond. May their soul rest in eternal peace.
Sincerely,
ZCAS Law School

*THE LAW ASSOCIATION CONVEYS THEIR HEARTFELT CONDOLENCES*
It is with great sadness that we note the shocking passing of Mr Julius Nkhuwa. He was an inspiration to many, and a man with a great sense of humor. He touched the lives of many students positively, as characterized by honesty sincerity, integrity, devotion and selfless service to our University.
He taught us,mentored us and made us what we are today . We can never forget that. He always made the classroom brighter with his knowledge and wisdom.
In the words of the late great Nelson Mandela: โDeath is something inevitable. When a man has done what he considers to be his duty to his people and his country, he can rest in peace. What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.โ
๏ฟฝSo, as you, the immediate members of his family mourn his demise to glory, do not think you are alone but be rest assured that we truly miss him and also mourn with you.
May his soul Rest in Peace.๐ฏ๐
On this Police Day, we would like to highlight the importance of the Zambia Police Service in preserving peace and maintaining law and order in the country.
As per section 5 of the Zambia Police Act, the police force shall be employed in and throughout Zambia for preserving the peace, for the prevention and detection of crime, and for the apprehension of offenders against the peace.
We appreciate the dedication and sacrifice of the police officers who uphold this mandate and work tirelessly to protect our communities.
Happy Police Day to all members of the Zambia Police Service!"

DO NOT TREAT YOUR NOT- MAKING IT ON FIRST ATTEMPT AS FAILURE, INSTEAD TREAT IT AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE HEADS YOU DID NOT DO WELL IN AND SHARPEN YOUR PRACTICING SKILLS.
Firstly, let me take this opportunity to congratulate my colleagues from the 2021/2022 Cohort of the Legal Practitioners Qualifying Examination (LPQE) Course who cleared on first attempt. Well done! I would have loved to clear all the eleven (11) Heads on first attempt too, but unfortunately, I only managed to complete eight (8) Heads. I was a little disappointed with myself but at the same time happy that I was not in โde novoโ. Even if I were, I would not have given up because I now have a better understanding of ZIALE's LPQE Course.
I also did not let the three (3) Heads that I did not do well in take away the joy and excitement of clearing the other eight (8) Heads. I chose to treat my not- making it on first attempt as an opportunity to have a better understanding of the Heads that I did not do well in.
Law career is a practical one and therefore, whenever you are given an opportunity to sharpen the practicing skills, make the most out of it and this is just one such opportunity for me โ repeating the three (3) Heads.
If you are still undecided on whether to register for the Online LPQE Repeatersโ revision classes due to frustrations of not making it on first attempt, you may even be in de novo (Donโt give up), treat this second attempt as an opportunity to sharpen your law practicing skills and make yourself a better lawyer. By now you know that ZIALE is so doable.
I am aware ZIALE has extended the registration period for Online LPQE Repeatersโ revision classes to 6th January, 2023. Let us all register while the teachings from the previous classes are still fresh.
See you at the Bar!
These are the courses on offer in the upcoming intake.
Take this chance to better understanding and skills set in the courses highlighted.
