Inhabited stone, Le plateau des lacs, France, 2021.
Competition : Building with structural stone 2021,
Second prize
Can we live in a stone? Stone is a dense material and to live man needs a void. Caves, the primitive habitats, are in fact voids dug by the action of water. Water transforms the stone, creating porosities or polishing it. The project " Inhabited stone " is inspired by the phenomenon of erosion, to create two types of spaces: the tunnel to move and the pebble to land. Through a re-reading of the first habitat of man, the project tries to answer the question posed at the beginning of the paragraph.

Competition : Reuse the fallen church,
Project "Luna".
Chiesa Diruta, the vernacular name for "the fallen church", tells us that despite its thick walls, the church has fallen. Originally, a church is a place that connects earth and sky, but collapsed, Chiesa Diruta no longer fulfills its role. The creation of a concert hall inside this religious building was an opportunity to bring stability to this ruined church and to reconnect earth and sky. The project seeks to find this state of stability, through pure geometric forms such as the triangle or the pyramid, because three points always belong to the same plane.
The downtown alleway, Los Angeles, United States, 2021.
Competition: Low Rise, Housing ideas for Los Angeles, .la
What surprised us the most in Los Angeles was the omnipresence of the car, the noise, the pollution and the traffic. This housing and offices project creates an internal garden, a patio, which brings people back to a more familiar scale. As soon as one enters this pedestrian passage, forgetting the urban euphoria of the main boulevards, the play of views, the various paths and the warm materials create a nearness that brings us closer to those who live or work here. The calm is an invitation to relax and to meet.

The Lake Refuge, Lac de Villefort, France, 2020.
Accompanied by .rouby.architectes
The refuge of the lake appears as a landmark in the winding landscape, a mysterious linear structure from the outside, which connects two strong environments: water and land. Once inside, this steel frame is inhabited by floating plateaus that adapt to the variable level of the lake, creating a real ritual from land to water. Inside, the structure filters the landscape, putting us sometimes at a distance, sometimes close, in order to apprehend the landscape in a different way.
