Twin Ports Trailer Trash and volunteers help clean up Canal Park The Twin Ports Trailer Trash enlisted the help of volunteers to help clean up Canal Park this morning as a way to help give back to Duluth.
It's been a fascinating year and a half, and today marks the start of a new chapter. Hopefully, this page will soon be history. You all played a significant role, and there's no doubt that this was a victory for the people, by the people. Congratulations to Roger Reinert, and heartfelt thanks to Emily Larson, for her years of service. This campaign will be remembered in the history books.
Above all, always remember that YOU have the power to make the most significant impact, whether you're a volunteer helping your community or a citizen standing up for what you believe is right. This is your town â take ownership of it.
Duluth, I thank you.
Congratulations Roger Reinert đ
Today, as we stand on the cusp of an upcoming election, it is crucial to reflect on our current situation. Last year, we devoted our efforts to several projects aimed at improving our city and bringing attention to the challenges our community confronts. Regrettably, many of the areas we diligently worked on have, in the interim, fallen back into a state of neglect. Above all, I implore you to exercise your right to vote, choosing the candidate whom you believe will most effectively advocate for Duluth and steer us towards a brighter future.
Results are in with 63% of the vote going to Roger in the primary!

I am excited and honored to share that in addition to Duluth Fire, we are also now endorsed by the women and men of the Duluth Police Department (Duluth Police Union LELS Local 538)! This endorsement reinforces our campaign's commitment to public safety as a community priority, and our unwavering support for all City employees who work tirelessly to ensure our community remains safe.
The Officers of the Duluth Police Department stand at the forefront. They daily dedicate their lives to protect and serve our city, preserve the peace, and work for justice. They daily do a job we all want done, but most of us would never do. Their resilience and dedication, especially through the challenges during and following the COVID pandemic, remind us that providing our police force with the necessary resources and support must once again be a top community priority. This aligns with something I've said repeatedly - the most basic responsibilities of local government are streets, utilities, and public safety.
This endorsement is more than a recognition; it's a commitment to responsibility. As your Mayor, I pledge to uphold this trust, working ceaselessly to ensure Duluth remains a safe, secure, and welcoming city for all its residents. And I will always respect and support the frontline City workers who provide the services we all want for the tax dollars paid.
Thank you LELS 538, for your unwavering dedication, trust, support, and endorsement. To learn more or support our campaign, please visit www.RogerForDuluth.com.

Wasn't this supposed to help with the housing crisis? Looks like a chicken coop for the house next door đ
Seeing a lot more community pride lately, thank you Downtown Duluth and Duluth Firefighters Local 101 for helping keep Duluth a beautiful place. And have to say it looks great down by canal this year in preparation for Grandma's Marathon. Thank you City of Duluth, MN Government and DuluthParksMN it's so nice to see
He is risen!
Thanks Roger Reinert
It's official! Will be an easy win against Larson no question and is the right person for the job.
What real leadership looks like. đ
Lots of snow on the way! âď¸
I think everyone can agree that snow removal can be challenging. Get prepared, if you're able please help others. If you have elderly parents/grandparents/friends/neighbors take the time to assist them (I feel like I'm in decent physical shape and even I struggle, imagine what it's like at 70+). THIS IS NOT ONLY KIND BUT IMPORTANT
Once the work is done go ENJOY IT!
Looks like someone got mad
Just incase you missed it. The people said NO! Pretty happy about this. The people don't want to keep throwing money away. Priorities need to change, find funding within the existing budget and get to work!

I am at a loss for words...
40 volunteers expected for tomorrow's Canal Park Cleanup!
First time I was alone, no permission, more or less hoping I wouldn't get in trouble.
Now we have multiple organizations involved, the city, students and citizens coming together.
This may not mean much to you and that is ok, but I never imagined this would happen and it's only the beginning.
I want to thank DuluthParksMN, Downtown Duluth, Grandma's Restaurants, Marshall School and all the volunteers that are willing to make this possible.
Also just a surprise for the people who have signed up, you will receive a voucher for Adventure Zone to be used after the clean up, this will include a laser tag play, a virtual reality play, a mini golf, a couple of slices of pizza, and a beverage. Thank you Grandma's Restaurants for this kind gift, I know everyone will have a great time!
To clear things up
"It's time to save our city and change our leadership. The purpose of this page is to support change and show you the real Duluth MN. We will be sharing photos and video of the town as it truly is to help support these needed changes"
From day 1 this was the purpose.
To show what we dislike, change it and hold current leadership accountable. We want new leaders that will fight to make this area what it should be. To share your opinions without fear or judgment. Highlight transparency, not just show what people want to see.
I have learned so much in a very short period of time, met with numerous organizations, citizens and taken time out of my schedule to help how I can. I strongly encourage everyone to do the same. The people I have met with want to share their story, what they do, what they like and dislike. I am just one person this is not an organization (anyone can do this and you should).
The more involved the community is the better. Take time out of your schedule to help with the small things, if you hate high taxes than come up with ways to cut the city out as your dollar goes further without them. The most common excuse I hear is "the city should do that, that's what I pay taxes for". If we follow this than nothing will happen but an increase in taxes. That someone is not someone else it's YOU!
If we do nothing taxes will only climb, leadership will not change and things will only continue to get worse. This is about action not just to complain.
If you disagree that is ok, if you agree than cool. Everyone's opinion does matter again I'm just one person and I know I'm not always right. But we need to work together, we need to work for change and we need to do it now.
