I feel like now is a good time to introduce our beautiful mum, Jane... the amazing dressmaker & seamstress behind Curse.
She has always had a passion for creativity and is generally very good at just about making anything (you should see our family home at Halloween 🦇) she studied needle craft and dressmaking at school and continued to make a variety of garments which included her own bridesmaid dresses which has slowly moved into trying to work out how to bring our design sketches to life! 🌸🖤
She has always been a huge inspiration to myself and Macie and has always encouraged us to be creative and passionate in whatever we do.
We are so lucky to share this interest in fashion, design and art together, so much so we created ‘Curse’. Primarily a creative project for us as Mother & Daughters to simply get creative together, to try new things together, to sometimes fail together, but then to pull through and create beautiful, hand made garments together🌷
(Not sorry for the choice of photos mum) you’re one cool chic! x

Some details of something new we have been working on 🕊
Covid- 19 has had an impact on the fabric suppliers we have recently used and the cottons we have used for final pieces have been out of stock for a few weeks now... please bare with us while we source our cotton from a different source for our final ready to wear pieces 🌸
