It's a rare serious episode of Broadly Speaking. In light of the recent gun massacres in Uvalde, Texas at Robb Elementary and in Buffalo (and the countless mass shootings and massacres before that happened in the United States), we share concrete, tangible ways that you can help.

If we want to see change, then we are ALL going to have to take action. It's on every single one of us who's feeling grief over the senseless and brutal loss of life this Country has seen. As always, we also encourage you to do your own research, but we understand it can be confusing and sometimes overwhelming, especially if your heart is breaking with grief like ours are, so we'll break down exactly who to call and exactly what you need to ask for.

Even if you don't listen to this episode, we encourage you to download the 5 Calls app - a free app that will connect you with political issues you care about (including gun reform) and will give you the phone numbers to the reps you need to call along with an exact script on what to say.

It's time for us to come together and turn our raw grief and pain into doing something to address the problem. It's our Country, and it's time we spoke up and told our leaders to do something. Our kids, our families, our neighbors, our friends, EVERYONE - all deserve better.
