See the thrilling side of Florida at Canyons Zip Line and Adventure Park Tucked away in a little part of Florida just north of Ocala, there is a place you would never expect to find. The old rock quarries make the perfect place for adventure at Canyons Zipline and Adventure Park.
Lizzie 🐶 and I took a stroll through Rainbow Springs State Park this past week. The waterfalls were created decades ago, back when Rainbow Springs was a popular Florida tourist attraction.

Here's another excellent reason to stay at The Salty Scallop! If you just watched the new Elvis movie and can't get enough of The King, join us in Yankeetown and we'll introduce you to all the spots where he filmed the 1961 movie Follow That Dream. There's actually several spots along the Nature Coast made famous by Elvis and his crew (check out this article)! And make sure to pull over on the Follow That Dream Parkway (Hwy 40) on your way into town and take a selfie with the Elvis statue! Bonus points if you post it to our page!!

Just got home from checking on The Rainbow House and The Salty Scallop. Other than some yard debris, both houses are fine. The Nature Coast was spared Ian's wrath and we are so incredibly grateful. Our hearts and prayers are with all the Floridians who are suffering.
