CHECK OUT THIS IMAGE!

Ken Hall submitted this image, taken with team Steeve Body and Tim Schaeffer using a RASA 11 and a RedCat 51.

600 HOURS of integration time. Hoinga – Supernova Remnant G249.5+24.5

It took them around 6-7 months of capturing that much data on this target. Pretty amazing target. Full Image on Astrobin: https://www.astrobin.com/a3ge9n/

Both the RASA 11 and RedCat 51 used Photon Cages and we are proud to be a part of such projects. To learn more about our cages, visit: https://www.asgastronomy.com/photon-cage/

Celestron RASA 11" Dew Shield Project...

Problem with dew shields is reaching in to change a filter, not to mention cable management. This little guy is modular and has magnetic filter access ports to just reach in from the side.

A magnetic lid makes it easy to seal up, and possibilities of fabric cover lids for flats, or a nice platform for a light panel.

This all sits with a ASG electronic Photon Cage on the losmandy rail mount system... It's a fast monster light bucket!

Polaris – MW-1 Integrated Flux Nebula

This is a capture of the Integrated Flux Nebula that was cataloged by Mandel-Wilson, MW-1. IFN is simply is gaseous bodies beyond our regular galaxy nebulae we capture and faint in contrast. The nebula and gas sit outside the galactic plane of the Milky-Way galaxy and gets it’s reflective light from all of our stars and galaxy light rather than traditional nebula within our galaxy.

IC410, IC417,IC405 - Tadpole, Spider, Flame Nebula

Got a little time this March on the target. Trying out 5 second exposures on RGB star data.

The Celestron RASA 11" astrograph was used with a ZWO Astrophotography 6200mm monochrome camera. 5 second RGB exposures with 300 second SHO narrowband Astronomik MaxFR.

This was taken with the ASG Electronically Assisted Tilt (EAT) prototype for tilt/backfocus management... almost a requirement at F/2 speeds and full frame sensors.

Terrible winter and haven't imaged since November. Finally was able to capture 16hrs this February on NGC 2244 the Rosette Nebula star cluster. The core of this region is producing new hot blue stars in the center with lots of Hydrogen, Sulfur, and Oxygen around.

Located in the region of sky near the popular Orion region, within the constellation Monoceros.
