A tale of romance captured in a bottle! Like the namesake, smells like a traditional bride who’s shy, demure, alluring and effortlessly beautiful!

A broad review is coming but I must say, this is an under hyped fragrance with a non offensive, elegant and feminine aura.

🌹 Armani Prive ~ Rouge Malachite 🌹

Rouge Malachite to me is the epitome of femininity; a captivating elixir that evokes the essence of yearning and passion with her enigmatic allure! Her aroma unfolds in layers, revealing her seductive blend of regal tuberose, soft spices, creamy texture and intoxicating aroma!

At first encounter, I get the burst of slightly herbal and peppery carnal tuberose, the delicate petals whisper secrets of romance and intrigue. Yet, beneath this floral facade lies a darker heart with sultry nuances.

As the fragrance settles on the skin, a subtle warmth emerges, like the lingering trace of a lover’s embrace. She’s most gorgeous when settles into this creamy, dainty, addictive, aphrodisiac, expensive sun tan lotion kinda tuberose leaving an intoxicating trail that captivates the senses and leaves an unforgettable impression in its wake.

Rouge Malachite tells a story, weaving a tapestry of passion and desire that lingers long after the night has ended.
My undying love for tuberose will always treasure her ‘cause she deserves the crown👑

She’s definitely on my top 3 for life, maybe number one as she embodies all of me. Like her majesty, I personify the elegance of white florals still unapologetically uphold my bold red aura. She’s ever so special and a bottled love story for me❤️

🌹Kayali ~ Sweet Diamond Pink Pepper🌹

Top Notes : Pink Pepper, Saffron, Bergamot, Royal Lily
Middle Notes : Bulgarian Rose, May Rose, Vanilla Orchid, Magnolia
Base Notes : Amber, Sandalwood, Patchouli, Musk

I get a burst of pink pepper, bergamot and saffron in the opening of Sweet Diamond, and shortly after I can smell the beautiful, opulent rose. As it dries down, the sandalwood, amber, patchouli show up. I don’t get enough musk, but I assume it’s so wonderfully blended that it saves it from being too sweet or cloying. It’s sweet, spicy, a bit smoky, incensy and seductive. The rose is not at all dated or basic. It’s modern yet classic, spicy yet fancy, sweet yet modest. It’s sophisticated and sensual at the same time making ít appropriate for date nights or going out at night when you’re in a mood to dress up and glam up.
At the drydown, it’s quite similar to kayali vanilla 28 with jammy rose.

Unlike other kayali fragrances, it’s quite long lasting with a good projection and sillage. It leaves a sublime symphony in the air making you the centre of the attraction through the wear. I can see it can be a bit cloying in high heat, otherwise it can be worn at night all through the year.

It smells so expensive and sumptuous that I feel like I have to dress it up, adorn myself in fancy jewels and accessories to do justice to her beauty. So it’s a special occasion kinda fragrance for me.

When you decide to glam up and smell like a Middle Eastern princess, this is it! Absolutely pretty and glamorous.

The feminine urge to become addicted to the clean girl aesthetic 🤍

is one of my most favourite designer houses specially when it comes to my everyday, easy reach, sophisticated musky scent picks! Thought of sharing my two cents comparing Musc noir and Musc noir rose, both created by Sonia Constant who Imo, created the best minimalistic, clean, sophisticated white musk perfumes from this range.

🖤 Musc Noir 🖤

Top Notes : Plum
Middle Notes : Musk, Heliotrope
Base Notes : Suede

It smells clean, soft and delicate. Sweet, juicy plum wrapped in transparent musk and sensual suede. Heliotrope adds some nutty and powdery facets. This is a versatile easy reach option for literally any occasion, as it smells beautiful and sophisticated and so effortless! It’s polite enough for the office and gorgeous enough for casual hangouts. It has this cozy, cocooning quality that I like to spray just after the shower or right before bed. Makes me feel so fresh, classy and demure.

This is signature worthy, all year round kinda fragrance with moderate performance. It lasts on my skin for around 4-5 hours with an arm length projection for first 1-2 hours, then being a skin scent.

🖤 Musc Noir Rose 🖤

Top Notes : Plum, Pink Pepper, Bergamot
Middle Notes : Musk, Rose, Tuberose
Base Notes : Vanilla

It smells feminine, elegant, addictive and seductive. It’s the darker, older sister more appropriate for evenings or a bit chilled weather. I get a lot of tuberose, but not heady tuberose. It’s plush, smooth, sweet. I don’t get prominent rose note, but it’s more of a background element which adds a bit maturity, not in a dated way. The vanilla, musk drydown is to die for! It’s so creamy and compelling that I can’t stop sniffing my wrist. A little bit fruity, creamy, plush floral, vanillic musk which is not overpowering or sickly sweet. She’s just a stunner!

This is also appropriate for all year round except in excessively hot and humid weather. This is more of an evening time kinda scent, suitable for going out, date nights, hangouts or parties. Definitely a head turner and compliment getter without being too much on your face.

Longevity is above average with moderate sillage and projection.

I picked her up tonight ‘cause it complemented my attire, mood and the joyous occasion of my nephew’s birthday party.

She’s fun, flirty, playful, uplifting and vibrant!
The opening notes of citrusy freshness, heart notes of scrumptious orange blossom, raspberry, black currant floral fruity concoction and the base notes of fluffy, comforting whipped cream, marshmallow, musk and ambrette blend to this youthful yet sophisticated ultra feminine perfection.

Almost like a bubblegum marshmallow ice cream but not in a juvenile way.
Surely a head turner and a compliment getter 💓

Today is my fur baby’s (Bajirao) day out with momma. It’s his grooming day and It’s good to know I won’t be disturbing other furry babies at the salon 🐶
Perfect day to wear this super clean, soft, pretty fragrance. He’s generally irritated by perfumes, he only likes a few and this is one of them. Good day indeed 🤍

🌊 Armani Prive ~ Bleu Turquoise 🌊

Base Notes : Vanilla, Sandalwood, Moss

I love to call this fancy oceanic spa in a bottle. The ultimate cool girl perfume. Feels very luxurious. Smells like pampered skin after bathing in the ocean.
Salty, incensy, woody, addictive vanilla with beachy facets. This is my favourite fresh vanilla for summer. This is wonderfully weird and might not be everyone’s cup of tea. But I love it with all my heart. Very artisanal and gorgeous!
Imo, it’s perfectly unisex. You have to spray it preferably on damp, hydrated skin to experience the opulent olfactory journey 🩵
I can’t get enough of this 🌊

🥀 Chanel No 5 EDP Red Edition 🥀

This is what I imagine classic beauties used to smell like. Gorgeous, glamorous, luxurious, sophisticated and very polished. Compared to the og No5, I find it to be fresher, brighter, more sparkly. It’s heavier on florals and has a woody, soapy drydown which feels so luxe! The og version is more powdery and heavy on aldehydes. Though aldehydes don’t actually irritate me, as I am into vintage, classic scent profiles. This is more wearable version of classic No5 and perfect to indulge in all year round.

It would be a sin if I don’t take a moment to appreciate how bewitching this red bottle looks! Red was Coco Chanel’s favourite color and red represents all the extreme emotions like love, passion, desire, sexuality, romance, courage or vigor! This fragrance doesn’t need to be loud to embody all these emotions and boldly carrying her grace!

As glam as it smells, still it’s more like an intimate encounter fragrance for me instead of special occasions or parties. This is more like an emotion than a statement. No wonder Marilyn Monroe preferred to go to bed with “only” Chanel no 5!

🌸 Elie Saab ~ Le Parfum Essentiel 🌸

Top notes : Orange blossom, Mandarin Orange
Middle notes: Gardenia
Base notes: Patchouli, Cedar

This to me is a gorgeous gardenia fragrance! Very upscale and grown to be precise, but at the same time smells like a bride who’s shy and traditional!
I get the orange blossom and mandarin orange in the opening which is quite uplifting and reviving. Then the Gardenia rules, with the patchouli and cedar, it leans on and blooms and stick to which I expect from the elie saab le parfum line. It’s beautiful and gorgeous!
I don’t get that “mature” vibe, but yes, it’s very classy and poised. I love it ‘cause it exudes elegance, radiance, joy and a subtle rigidity that I admire!
I can see myself indulging with this luxury in spring and summer.
Longevity: 8-10hours
Projection : 8/10

Since it has been raining since past few days here, I have been looking for something refreshing yet fancy. This is what I have been craving for specially after shower.

Smells like a wooden spa just after the rain. If you’re familiar with the smell of dripping rain water from the bamboo leaves, this is what it smells like. So freshening, reminds me of those gloomy, rainy days in my childhood. But the woodsy notes and elegant florals add the fancy spa vibe. Somehow it turns creamy and oh so smooth! Maybe because of the fig. This smells so luxurious and classy. It’s like bottling up all the wild rain and making it fancy! Such a lovely experience🤍

Lately I was craving for this old favourite, cult classic goodness 🖤 it has been a pleasure to add this again to my collection.
Si is something that I don’t reach for often now, but whenever I smell it on someone else, can’t stop complimenting on how gorgeous they smell!

Posh, sophisticated, elegant, woody, creamy musk goodness. As much as I love Poudree, I can’t say I love it less. If Poudree is a gentle, heart warming, pretty woman, this one is more put together, calm and classy.

A soft, sensual white musk untamed with woody dimensions. Gardenia plays in the background with white rose petals.

Delicate yet confident, mature yet alluring.

This one is more all year round and fresh, clean aesthetic. Less powdery and more woody. This one has more of a unisex vibe. Narciso cubes never fail to win my heart🤍

⚜️ Alien Goddess Intense - Mugler ⚜️

Middle Notes : Jasmine, Jasmine Tea
Base Notes : Vanilla, Benzoin, Cashmere wood

Creamy coconut , bourbon vanilla and jasmine sound exactly like my dream scent and undoubtedly it is ! Like, take the OG Alien and make it vanillin and tropical! How perfect does that sound?

I get a burst of refreshing jasmine tea in the opening that instantly lifts up my mood. This is not a linear scent by any means. She grows, evolves and plays with your body chemistry and turns into creamy, dreamy, woody vanilla, coconut, jasmine scent. A true scent of a tropical goddess indeed. The jasmine is like the og alien jasmine, slightly indolic and raw which I love! Smells so luxurious, festive and absolutely gorgeous.

Appropriate for summer evening dates, parties, gloomy rainy days and also perfect for fall as it’s vanilla heavy. Very versatile in my opinion.

The scent trail is so alluring. Such a compliment grabber. Projection and lasting power are moderate. Projects amazingly for first 2-3 hours then it sits closer to skin. You’ll be wrapped in a pleasant scent bubble till it completely fades away.

Overall, a hot girl summer perfume. She smells exactly like the bottle. Like the golden hour at the beach, her skin is glowing like a goddess, the ocean wind is playing with her hair and she radiates the whiffs of Alien Goddess Intense ! Isn’t it just like a beautiful dream?

Not overly beachy or sunscreeny and can be used all year round.
I’m so glad that I have her.

🌸 Miss Dior - Absolutely Blooming 🌸

The only one that I adore after tons of reformulation of miss dior line.
The initial berry blast may smell juvenile or too fruity, but the drydown is this elegant, powdery, feminine rose that’s meant for casting a charm or spell or something. She’s gorgeous, dainty and graceful. Her aura is vibrant, luminous pink that represents romance, innocence, femininity and optimism. She’s kinda shy but playful, inhibited yet passionate, indulgent yet kind.

She’s a crowd pleaser and she doesn’t mind having all the eyes on her. A compliment getter and a delightful pretty girl fragrance which is more attractive in the air.

I was never a Miss Dior kinda girl, but I don’t mind smelling pretty every once in a while and feel like a disney princess ( Not a damsel in distress for sure 😛)👸🏻💓

I believe, if you like Si by Giorgio Armani, you’ll like it as well.
This can be worn all year round but I like it better in summer or spring evenings; special occasion or date night appropriate. Also a good idea to wear it for brunch dates or hangouts with girlfriends.
Performance, longevity and sillage are above average.
Worth having in your collection if you’re a Miss Dior fan💓
