Our family in Vietnam needs us in this moment.
My grandma, my life inspiration and my beloved came back to Mother Earth. We are still continuing her journey for spreading love.

In the mood for drinking!

22/03/2023

After wars, the Viet economy was
very depressed. We were all living with a serious lack of food and nutrition. But thank god, we still had
banana trees in the backyard.

We have utilized all parts of the banana. Banana fruits sure were the best for health and feeding hunger and one very popular dish was banana flower salad. It is a simple yet elegant and refreshing dish, especially when topped with sea food. It is sweet, sour, spicy, earthy and full of umami from the fish sauce.
Today, I would like to introduce the dish that symbolizes a generation of hunger and strength to prevail - from my town to the Boston community.
With love,
Vincenzo!
