YES ON V !!!!!!
The Acorn previously endorsed the measure for several reasons. Local schools receive little to no help from the state when it comes to renovating old classrooms. There’s also a new push to implement campus safety measures, which also must be paid for out of the local till. Insufficient campus security, air conditioners that don’t work and roofs that leak water demand our attention. Yes, Measure V raises taxes, but it also boosts confidence that our children will be protected and have learning facilities that are up to date.
