After putting 7 crazy bikers back on the plane to the UK, its taken a few days for me to recover physical and mentally. Can't remember laughing and drinking so much. (the catch phrase, lets have a quick drink before dinner.) Yeah right !!!!

After a hard day, we fancied an ice-cream but had to settle for a cold drink. Looked like he'd had a wild night. ;-)

Just finished 3 back to back adventures with some very enthusiastic bikers, who loved our corner of Paradise. Sadly the road below took some explaining. ;-( To my local friends watch out....Sanadkan road, marker 31 to Beluran, Great Danger.

Bikers just left after a great Adventure......, now what was that about New Year Party...?? ;-)

Had a very rewarding day yesterday......
Christmas came early for the Kudat Kids at ‘Emmanuel Homes’. All due to the generous donations from Borneo Biking Adventures customers…. And sales of ‘Recycled Lives’ ( the book you need to read ) Also a HUGE thank you to….. ‘Evergreen Adventure’, Kelombong, KK, for stretching our cash, into 6,500 Ringgit of amazing camping equipment.

We opened a ‘Pop Up Tent’ for the photograph….… repacking efforts were very entertaining. Then someone found the instruction, that’s when things got hilarious. Photos of first camping trip to follow.

To my biking friend in KK..... Did the route from Koto Marudu to Poring Hot Springs again last week... What a fantastic tarmac road and now only 400 meters of gravel.... If you have not done it yet, you need to... only 80km between gas stations.... ;-)

Later Wednesday afternoon a water spout off the Tip of Borneo... First thing Friday morning, Mars close to Mt. Kinabalu... The amazing things you see in beautiful Sabah. ;-)

Just had a fantastic 1800km, 6 day trip with two bikers, who had an amazing experience at Sepilok. A male Orangutan swung out of the trees, then ambled towards them as they frantically snapped photo's. Unfazed, the animal reached up and gently squeezed the forearm of each biker, before wandering off. A very special moment. Hope to have a video of the encounter very soon.

Planted seeds from a 'Kapok Tree' two months ago... growing very well indeed. But think I'll have a long wait before I get enough fiber to stuff my mattress.. ;-)

Met this guy a while back, but saw him riding again a few days ago.... flymo power still going strong. ;-)

While bikers took photo's at the Tip of Borneo, I had a few minutes to excavate the fossilized space helmet a little more... release date very soon now ;-)

Rescued this big guy yesterday, then found it took two people to rescue me.. ;-)

Positive proof we rode motorbikes Zillions of years ago, before destroying this planet the first time. Below is a picture of a fossilized crash helmet, I found entombed in ancient sandstone. Update of manufacture and size to follow.

Due to the large increase in dog fatalities, some animals have taken steps to solve this problem... Saw this smart guy yesterday, as we travelled back from the Tip of Borneo.. ( Awas = Beware )

We passed through a tiny village yesterday... where we met Bob the Bat. The lady said she'd had him from a baby, he doesn't fly away because he thinks he's fish..... due to living next to a large fish tank..

In some places all this rain looks rather spectacular ;-)

Guys trust me...., there's a road here somewhere ;-)
