INFANT FORMULA INVESTIGATION: At least 3 babies got sick from Cronobacter infection and sadly one has died.
Do not feed your baby any recalled powdered infant formula. Check the code on the package and compare it to the recall information.
• Return recalled formula for refund at store or online at Abbott.
• If you get infant formula from WIC, contact your local WIC agency for more guidance.
• Do not feed your baby diluted formula or homemade formula.
• Do not buy formula online that comes from outside the U.S. This formula could be counterfeit.

Important to remember
Vital information to help you safely feed your infant while passes and during the recovery period.
Long power outages and difficult travel may make getting usual feeding supplies more difficult. Breastfeed more often and put off introducing bottles or weaning until things are back to normal.

HOW TO PREPARE FORMULA SAFELY
Be sure that if your baby is formula fed, you are using safer formula preparation to keep your baby from getting sick during this emergency.
If you are mixed feeding, offer the breast more so that you build up your milk supply and your baby is less dependent on formula during this emergency.
Formula is extra hard to prepare safely under these conditions.

Important-Taking off your mask
Wear a mask when you’re in public to help slow the spread of COVID-19. When removing your mask, handle only the ear loops or ties, and fold the outside corners together to keep it clean. Be careful not to touch your eyes, nose, or mouth, and always wash your hands after removing.
