It is an honor to recognize the Signers' contributions by laying a wreath at their monument. Grateful for the Sojourners and the Brothers who made this event a success.
The Eminent Commander and Sir Knights of Georgia Commandery #1 honored the Signers monument in Downtown Augusta with a meaningful wreath-laying ceremony alongside the Right Eminent Grand Commander, creating a memorable experience in the heart of the city.
At the Grand York Rite Sessions, I am delighted to report a successful morning so far. As the Illustrious Master of Adoniram Council No.1, I was pleasantly surprised to receive an award acknowledging our Council's remarkable 10% growth in membership. This achievement is a reflection of the dedication and hard work invested by our Council in attracting new members.
Our Eminent Commander, Andrew Dickerson and his family, several Sir Knights, and a brand new Master Mason enjoyed a wonderful Easter Service at Asbury United Methodist Church.
Congratulations to our newly elected Eminent Commander,

Georgia Commandery #1 is the oldest Commandery in the state, predating the Grand Commandery of Georgia, and having received their charter from the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar of the United States of America in 1823. The attached photo is our replacement charter, as the original was destroyed by fire. The replacement is dated August 1892. We will celebrate 200 years at our annual Christmas Observance this December.
Last night we enjoyed having V.E.D.G.C. Tyler Pledger at Georgia Commandry No.1 as he came for an official visit. We had a very productive meeting and prayed together for the safety of Israel 🇮🇱.
Eminent Commander Dale Cliett and our Recorder P.E.C. Jim Wyatt had a great time visiting the Sir Knights of Saint Bernard Commandry No. 25 with VEDGC Tyler Pledger from the Grand Commandry of Georgia.
The Service for Right Eminent Past Grand Commander and Illustrious Brother Doyle R. Hatfield, who passed on Wednesday September 13, 2023, will be at 2:00 pm this Sunday, September 17th in Slocomb, Alabama. The address of the Funeral Home is:

The Knights Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, as Knights of the Temple and of Malta, we come into your presence to dedicate not our swords but our hearts, not our arms but our hands in your service,
May our swords be your cross; our banner, your love, our spurs your passion; and our charge, your charge to the disciples, be pleased to accept us as we are, and make us what we ought to be, for your own name’s sake we ask it,
Amen
To all Royal Arch Masons, Royal & Select Masters and Knights Templar wherever dispersed about the world,
MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
